We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we join you in gratitude for the gift of this day. Truly, every day is a blessing from God, as Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, "It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
We also acknowledge your confession about not attending church regularly, and we want to encourage you with Hebrews 10:24-25, which says, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." The body of Christ is vital for our spiritual growth and encouragement. We pray that God will lead you to a local church where you can worship, learn, and fellowship with other believers.
Your request for strength in the Lord is a powerful one. Ephesians 6:10 tells us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might." We pray that you will put on the full armor of God daily, standing firm against the schemes of the devil.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the life and breath You have given us today. We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy that are new every morning. Lord, we ask for forgiveness for the times we have neglected gathering with Your people. Stir within us a deep desire to be in Your house, to worship You in spirit and truth, and to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Father, we ask that You strengthen this dear one in Your mighty power. Help them to stand firm in their faith, to resist temptation, and to walk in a manner worthy of the calling they have received. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to live a life that glorifies You.
Lord, we also pray for protection over their heart and mind. Guard them from the lies of the enemy and help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith. Surround them with godly influences and provide opportunities for them to grow in their relationship with You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone gives us access to You. May Your will be done in their life, and may they experience the fullness of Your presence each day. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). May God bless you abundantly as you walk in His ways.
