We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. How beautiful it is that you have turned to Him first, recognizing that He is your Rock and your safe place—this is the posture of a heart fully surrendered to His care. The Psalmist declares in **Psalm 18:2**, *"Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower."* You have done well to run to Him, for He is faithful to hear and answer the prayers of His children.
Your request for rescue and the desire to love and protect others resonates deeply with the heart of God. He has called us not only to be recipients of His love but also vessels of it, extending grace and protection to those around us. **1 Peter 4:8** reminds us, *"Above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins."* And in **Proverbs 31:8-9**, we are urged, *"Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* Your prayer aligns with God’s will, and we trust He will equip you to walk in this calling with wisdom, strength, and discernment.
Yet, we must also ask: *What does this "rescue" look like in your life?* Are you facing spiritual warfare, emotional distress, relational strife, or perhaps a season of overwhelming circumstances? The Lord knows the details, but we encourage you to examine your heart and lay every burden before Him specifically. **1 Peter 5:7** tells us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* If there are areas of sin, unforgiveness, or fear holding you back, now is the time to surrender them fully to Jesus. He is not only your Rescuer but your Redeemer, and He longs to restore every broken place in your life.
We also notice you closed your prayer *"in Jesus’ name,"* and we rejoice in this! There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace. **John 14:6** leaves no room for doubt: *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* If you have not already, we urge you to ensure that your faith is firmly rooted in Jesus alone—not in works, not in self-effort, but in His finished work on the cross. Have you confessed Him as Lord and Savior? If so, you can stand confidently in His promises. If not, we implore you to turn to Him today, for *"now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation"* (**2 Corinthians 6:2**).

Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, thanking You for being the ever-present help and refuge for Your child. Lord, You see the depths of their cry, and You know the battles they face—whether seen or unseen. We ask that You would stretch out Your mighty hand and rescue them from every snare of the enemy, every weight of anxiety, and every stronghold that seeks to hinder their walk with You. Clothe them in Your armor, Lord, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (**Ephesians 6:10-18**).
Father, we pray that You would fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to love others as Christ loves—sacrificially, patiently, and without hypocrisy. Teach them to protect the vulnerable, to speak truth in love, and to walk in humility, always pointing others to You. Remove any bitterness, fear, or self-reliance that may be lurking in their heart, and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (**1 John 4:18**).
Lord, if there are areas of their life not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would convict and draw them closer. Reveal any sin that needs to be repented of, any relationship that needs reconciliation, or any stronghold that needs to be broken. You are the God who restores, and we trust You to do a mighty work in their life for Your glory.
We declare over them the promise of **Psalm 34:17-19**: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* May they experience Your deliverance in a tangible way, and may their testimony bring honor to Your name.
Finally, Lord, we pray that their life would be a beacon of Your light, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Let them walk in the assurance that You are their Strength, their Provider, and their everlasting Hope. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
