God*s will abd ways to ### heart and mind ❤️❤️❤️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ### into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###'s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heartfelt prayer and join with you in seeking God’s will for this new connection in your life. It is beautiful to see your trust in the Lord’s guidance and your desire for His perfect plan to unfold. However, we must gently bring to light a few areas where we believe Scripture calls us to realign our focus and expectations.

First, while it is natural to desire romance and a deep connection, we must remember that God’s primary concern is not just our happiness but our holiness. The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." If this relationship is moving toward physical intimacy before marriage, we must rebuke that in Jesus' name and encourage you to honor God with your body. Courtship should be pursued with purity, with the goal of marriage, not merely emotional or physical fulfillment.

Second, while it is wonderful to pray for a godly spouse, we must be cautious not to try to mold someone into our ideal. Instead, we should seek a man who is already walking with the Lord, demonstrating the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). A provider’s heart is not just about financial provision but about spiritual leadership, as seen in Ephesians 5:25-28, where husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church. Pray for a man who is already striving to live this out, rather than one who needs to be shaped into it.

Third, we must surrender our desires fully to God, trusting that His timing and plan are perfect. Psalm 37:4 reminds us, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." This does not mean God will give us everything we want, but that as we delight in Him, He will align our desires with His will. It is good to pray for marriage and a united family, but we must hold these dreams loosely, trusting that God’s plan is better than our own.

Lastly, we must ensure that this relationship is built on a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" If is not a believer, we must pray for his salvation first and foremost, as a relationship with an unbeliever cannot honor God in the way He intends for marriage.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this relationship to You. Lord, we ask that You would be at the center of it, guiding every step and every conversation. We pray that You would draw to Yourself, that he would come to know You as his Savior and Lord if he does not already. Father, we ask that You would cultivate in him a heart that seeks You above all else, a heart that is kind, loving, and ready to lead a family in a way that honors You.

Lord, we rebuke any impure thoughts or actions in this relationship. We ask that You would help both and to pursue purity, honoring You with their bodies and their hearts. Guard their hearts from lust and selfish desires, and instead, fill them with a love that reflects Your own, selfless, patient, and kind.

Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for as she navigates this relationship. Help her to see clearly whether this is Your will for her life. If it is not, give her the strength to walk away, trusting in Your plan. If it is Your will, prepare both of their hearts for the commitment of marriage, that they may build a home that glorifies You.

Lord, we surrender these desires for marriage and family into Your hands. We trust that Your timing is perfect and that Your plan is good. Give peace as she waits, and fill her with hope as she looks to You. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season, spending time in His Word and in prayer. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." As you do, He will guide you into His perfect will.

It’s beautiful that you’re bringing this new connection straight to the Lord, that desire to see His will and His timing unfold is already a mark of wisdom. We’re joining you in asking Him to lead.

When we pray for guidance in relationships, it’s natural to watch for feelings, signs, and those quickening moments. But over time we’ve found that God often uses more ordinary things too: the steady counsel of people who know us well, the peace that holds even when circumstances aren’t clear yet, and the simple space to get to know someone over unhurried time. Those things give the heart room to breathe and let genuine love grow at a pace that can be tested by real life, not just early excitement.

One thing that might help right now is to invite a trusted older Christian friend, maybe a mentor or a couple you respect, to pray with you regularly as this friendship develops. Let them know what you’re hoping for, and let their outside perspective help you sift feelings from fact. And while the idea of a future that includes marriage and blending your family is deeply good to bring before God, we’d also encourage you, when that day comes, to seek out solid premarital counseling that specifically addresses stepfamily dynamics. Those relationships carry unique challenges and unique grace, and preparing well can make a profound difference.

Above all, keep resting your hope not on a particular outcome but on the One who holds your heart and your boys. He knows what you need even before you ask.

We pray with you now:

Father, thank you for this woman’s open heart and for the connection she’s begun. Quiet every anxious thought and replace it with a deep, settled trust. Guide her and this man step by step, in Your timing. Give her wise companions to walk with her, and guard both their hearts from rushing ahead or pulling back in fear. If it is Your will, let this relationship become something that honors You and brings lasting good to her boys. And in all things, give her the peace that passes understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A soul poured out before the throne is never poured in vain, yet I perceive in your prayer a heart that longs to build a nest before the corner stone is laid. You speak of a door opened, a video call, a man brought into your life. You ask God to shape him, to stir romance, to make him a provider and a stepdad to your boys. You dream of marriage and a new land. These are tender hopes, but they must be laid sidewise to the altar, for the axe of divine will must strike through every timber of our own devising.

Methinks you have cried, “I will,” more often than “if the Lord wills.” The unspoken breath of the sinner is presumption, for we are not masters of tomorrow, nor can we turn a man’s heart as the rivers of water. God’s will is the axle of the universe, and if that wheel do not turn, no wing of prayer shall fly. Has He not said, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy”? Then let your first plea be that He would have mercy on your own soul, that you be found among His jewels, a brand plucked from the fire, before you seek to gather other brands to your bosom.

Is this man a partaker of the grace of God? If he be not, all your romance is but fanned kindling over a pit of eternal sorrow. He may be shaped into a provider, yet if he lack the bread of heaven he is a pauper clad in dying rags. You would have him declare love aloud, oh, pray rather that he might declare the loving kindness of the Lord, and that the deep spark should be the flame of the Holy Ghost convincing him of sin and righteousness and judgment! A marriage without Christ for the bridegroom of both hearts is but a painted ship on a stormy sea.

You say you commit this relationship to God’s hands, yet you quickly unroll a map of your desired route. Our best profit consists of doing God’s will, not of drawing up contracts for His signature. Let the blessedness of hearing and keeping His Word be your portion. If He writes courtship and marriage upon your page, rejoice with trembling; if He writes delay or a closed door, kiss the pen with which He writes. He does all things well.

Go then to the mercy seat and pray first, “Lord, show me Your will; make me willing to be nothing, to have nothing, save what You appoint. Work in me to will and to do of Your good pleasure. Take this desire, if it be after the flesh, crucify it; if it be of Thine own planting, cause it to bear fruit in its season.” Then will you find that the place of yieldedness is the safest cradle for every holy hope. God betroths His people to Himself forever in righteousness; learn that marriage before you seek a mortal copy.

You are a mother; lead your little ones to the cross. A stepfather cannot give them what only the Heavenly Father can. Let your boys see in you a soul that waits upon God, that hears the rod and its Appointer, and that dares not trust the bruised reed of human affection above the rock of ages. And if this man indeed be chosen of God and drawn by the Spirit, the Lord will make straight His own path. Until then, be content to be a witness to the sufficiency of Christ, whose love is better than wine.

Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. But do not mistake the gilded cardboard of a temporal romance for the fine gold of His eternal covenant. The richest saints are they who can whisper in the night, “Not my will, but Thine be done.” So will you find Him a hiding place, and as you return to Him, He will return to you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
