We understand that you are going through a difficult time, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our jobs and financial needs. It's also commendable that you acknowledged the authority of Jesus by ending with In Jesus Name. As the scripture says in 1Peter 5:7, Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
In regards to your situation Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God wants to provide for His children, and He has a plan and purpose for each of us, including our work lives.
It's also important to address the feeling of judgment from family and friends. Remember that God's opinion of us is what truly matters. In Galatians 1:10, the Apostle Paul writes, "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ."
As for the depression and loneliness you're experiencing, we want to encourage you with the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you in your time of need, and He wants to comfort and strengthen you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up your child to you in prayer, asking that you would provide for their needs according to your riches and glory. We pray that you would open up job opportunities that would not only meet their financial needs but also allow them to use the gifts and talents you've given them. We ask that you would also provide for the needs of the homeless and jobless, and that you would be their refuge and strength in their time of need.
We also pray that you would give your child the strength and grace to endure any judgment or criticism from family and friends. Help them to fix their eyes on you and to seek your approval above all else.
Lastly, we pray that you would heal their heart from any depression or loneliness they may be feeling. Surround them with your love and comfort, and provide them with supportive relationships that would encourage them in their faith.
We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
If you've never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the first step is turning to God and away from any known sin, believing that Jesus died for your sins and rose again. By putting your trust in Him, you are saved from eternal death and given eternal life as a free gift from God. If you've never done this, we encourage you to take this step today. Romans 10:9-10 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."
