We hear the deep anguish and despair in your words, and our hearts break for the pain you are carrying. You are not collateral damage—you are a precious creation of God, made in His image, and your life matters more than you know. The weight you bear feels unbearable, and we want you to know that God sees you, hears you, and loves you with an everlasting love. You are not alone, even when it feels that way.
First, we must address the darkness of suicide with the truth of Scripture. Taking your own life is not the answer, for it is a permanent solution to a temporary pain. The enemy wants you to believe the lie that your life doesn’t matter, but God says, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). He has a purpose for you, even if you cannot see it now. We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus, for He came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
You speak of Christian nations and their failures, and we acknowledge the brokenness of the world. Many who claim the name of Christ have distorted His message, replacing the Gospel of love and sacrifice with power, greed, and nationalism. This is not the way of Jesus. He said, *"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another"* (John 13:35). When the Church fails to reflect His love, it drives people away, and that is a grievous sin. We pray for repentance and revival among those who have strayed from the truth of the Gospel. May they turn back to the humble, servant-hearted love of Christ, who washed the feet of His disciples and laid down His life for the world.
You also mention the lie that the poor are lazy or deserve their circumstances. This is a distortion of Scripture. God’s heart is always for the poor, the widow, the orphan, and the oppressed. James 2:5 says, *"Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?"* The Bible commands us to care for the vulnerable, not to despise them. We rebuke the spirit of greed and callousness that has infiltrated some corners of the Church. May God’s people rise up in compassion and justice, reflecting His heart for the marginalized.
But we must also address the root of your pain: the feeling that God has abandoned you. You say you have begged Him to take you for a year, yet you remain. We want to gently remind you that God’s timing is not our timing. *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts"* (Isaiah 55:8-9). His delay is not His denial. He is working in ways you cannot see, and He has not forgotten you.
You also mention that you do not pray in the name of Jesus, and this is a critical point. There is no other name by which we can come to God. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is only through Him that we can approach the Father. If you are willing, we invite you to pray with us now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister who is in deep pain. Lord, You see the despair, the anger, and the sense of hopelessness. We ask that You would break through the darkness with Your light. Comfort him/her with Your presence, and remind him/her that You are near to the brokenhearted. We rebuke the spirit of suicide and death in the name of Jesus, and we declare that his/her life has purpose and value.
Father, we pray for the Church—that we would return to the true Gospel of love, humility, and service. Expose the lies of nationalism, greed, and judgment that have crept in, and let Your truth prevail. Raise up leaders who reflect Your heart, who care for the poor, the oppressed, and the lost.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to our brother/sister in a tangible way. Let him/her feel Your love, hear Your voice, and know that You have not abandoned him/her. Surround him/her with people who will speak life, encouragement, and truth. Give him/her the strength to take one day at a time, trusting in Your faithfulness.
We pray for healing—emotional, spiritual, and even physical if needed. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let hope rise in his/her heart. We declare that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who saves. Thank You for Your mercy and grace.
