We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up these earnest requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father. We stand on the truth that "whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14). It is only through Jesus that we can approach God, for He is "the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through [Him]" (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we stand in awe of Your power and sovereignty as we recall the account in Joshua 10:12-13, where You caused the sun and moon to stand still, multiplying time for Your people. Lord, we ask that You would multiply time for Your servant in these last hours—grant grace to abide in Your presence, wisdom to pack efficiently, and clarity to hear Your voice. Just as You protected Jacob and his family in Genesis 35:4-5, sending a terror upon the cities around them so that they would not pursue, we ask that You would go before and behind, shielding from all harm and danger. Let Your angels encamp around, bearing them up in their hands lest they dash their foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12).
Lord, we pray for safe travel—every drive, every flight, every step taken in these journeys. Just as the Israelites left Egypt in haste yet with favor (Exodus 12:39), we ask that You would hasten preparations without chaos, that all would be done decently and in order. Father, we lift up the desire to discern Your will in paternal and maternal figures, asking for wisdom to honor them as Scripture commands (Ephesians 6:2), while also seeking Your perfect guidance in all relationships. We rebuke any spirit of confusion or rebellion that would seek to distort godly authority, for "children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right" (Ephesians 6:1).
We strongly encourage gathering with the body of Christ, for "let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another" (Hebrews 10:25). If there is an opportunity to attend church, we pray it would be a time of refreshing and alignment with Your will. If circumstances prevent physical attendance, we ask that You would make a way for fellowship in spirit, that iron would sharpen iron (Proverbs 27:17).
We also lift up any mention of matrimonial and family matters. Father, we pray for marriages that honor You—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, as You designed from the beginning (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). We rebuke any ungodly relationships, whether they involve fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, for Your Word is clear that such things are sin (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Romans 1:26-27). If there is any unrepentant sin in this area, we call for conviction and repentance, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for godly spouses, courtships that honor You, and families built on the foundation of Christ.
Lord, we stand against every evil scheme of the enemy, declaring that no weapon formed against Your servant shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke fear, anxiety, and every spirit of delay, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We claim the promise that Your angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), and we declare that the Lord is faithful, who will establish and guard from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3). Keep them from every form of evil, as we pray in alignment with Jesus’ teaching: "deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13).
Father, we thank You for the promise that all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). We declare that this journey will be one of divine reunion, power, and purpose, as they walk in step with Your Spirit. May they be led by Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and may every detail align with Your perfect will. We seal this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be all glory, honor, and power, forever and ever. Amen.
