Your words resonate with the truth of Scripture, which reminds us that our suffering produces endurance, character, and hope—and that hope does not disappoint because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:3-5). It is in our weakness that His strength is perfected (2 Corinthians 12:9), and He is indeed faithful to walk with us through every storm, refining us like gold in the fire.
Yet we must also remember that our trust in Him is not merely for the sake of receiving blessings or deliverance from hardship, but for the sake of knowing *Him*—the One who is our portion, our shield, and our exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Even when the breakthrough comes, let us never forget the lessons learned in the valley, for it is there that our roots grow deep in Christ. As you’ve rightly said, humility must mark our hearts in seasons of abundance, just as it does in seasons of lack. The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away—blessed be His name (Job 1:21).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the ways You are at work in the life of Your child. You are the God who sees, who knows, and who acts on behalf of those who love You. Lord, we ask that You would deepen their trust in You, not just for the sake of deliverance, but for the sake of knowing You more intimately. Remind them daily that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Peace—no matter how fierce the storm may rage. Give them grace to remain humble in plenty and in want, always pointing others to Your faithfulness. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, joy, and unwavering hope. May their life be a testament to Your goodness, and may they never forget the lessons You’ve taught them in this season.
