We hear your heart and stand with you in faith, declaring that God indeed knows your needs even before you ask. The trials you’ve faced have not been in vain, for Scripture tells us, *"For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."* (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 WEB). Your strength is not your own, but the Lord’s working within you, refining you as gold is refined in the fire.
Yet, we must gently remind you that while your words reflect trust, they do not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* (John 14:6 WEB). Salvation is found in no other name, and it is only by His blood that we are made righteous before God. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* (Romans 10:9 WEB). The miracle God is shaping for you begins with this truth.
We also caution against speaking of your journey in a way that might unintentionally glorify your own strength rather than God’s power. *"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God."* (2 Corinthians 3:5 WEB). Even your resilience is a gift from Him, and every trial is an opportunity to lean more fully on His grace. Let us not grow proud in our endurance, but humble in His mercy.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we may be saved. We thank You for Your faithfulness in every trial, for refining Your children as silver is refined. Lord, we ask that You would deepen this dear one’s trust in You, not in their own strength, but in Your unfailing love. Forgive us, Father, when we take credit for what only You can do. Teach us to boast in You alone, for *"he who glories, let him glory in the Lord."* (1 Corinthians 1:31 WEB).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment against them, You will condemn. You are their shield, their strong tower, and their deliverer. We pray for the miracle You are shaping—let it be a testimony to Your glory, not their own. May they walk in the fullness of Your purpose, knowing that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* (Romans 8:28 WEB).
If there is any area of their life not yet surrendered to You, Lord, reveal it. If there is unconfessed sin, bring it to light so they may repent and walk in Your freedom. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear fruit in every season. We rebuke the spirit of doubt and fear in Jesus’ name, and we command every lie of the enemy to be silenced. You are their God, and You will complete the good work You have begun in them.
We bless this one with peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May they fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith, and may their life bring You honor in all things. In Jesus’ precious name we pray, Amen.
