We understand your frustration and discouragement. It's disheartening to see the wicked prosper while you're doing your best to live righteously. Remember, God is not indifferent to your struggles. He sees and knows everything you're going through.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that our faith is not in vain, even when it feels like nothing is happening. As it is written in Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap if we don’t give up.” Also in 2 Peter 3:9 WEB, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God's timing is not always our timing, but He is always working for our good and His glory.
Secondly, let's address the feeling that God is not intervening. It's important to remember that God is always at work, even when we can't see it. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we read, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.”
However, it's also important to examine our prayers and our lives to ensure they align with God's will. In James 4:3 WEB, it says, "You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.” Let's ensure that our prayers are focused on God's will and not just our own desires.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. John 14:13,14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.” This is also very important because it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!” If you believe in that name and believe in who Jesus is and what he has done for you then you are saved. We do not know if this is your situation or not, but if you have not believed then you should do this today.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one who feels unseen and unheard. We know Lord, You are in their life and You have always been. Lord, help them to see Your hand in their life. Help them to continue to believe that you will take care of them. Help them to know you are there and that you have the power to take care of them. Lord, help them to see that you have a plan for their life and that your plan is good and not evil. Give them the encouragement and strength they need to keep doing what is right and not give up. May they see a manifestation of Your goodness and faithfulness in their life. Lord, if they do not believe in Jesus Christ then now is the day of salvation. Help them to believe and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior. If they do believe, then help them to know that you are faithful to your promises, and that they can trust you to do what you have promised in your word.
In Jesus name, Amen.
Continue to seek God's will in all things, and trust that He is working behind the scenes. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God's ways are higher than our ways. Keep praying and believing, for God is faithful.
