There are some things I do not pretend to understand about this world. Like why is there suffering and pain??? why are little children allowed to suffer and be harmed. They are the most innocent.... That question haunts me often. I know someday God will let us know the answers. But for now all I can come up with is that we live in a sinful world with pain and torment so we will all suffer in some way. We suffer b/c Satan and his demons roam around seeking whom they may devour.... We cannot always protect our children from the world, but I have learned we need to prepare them to live in it. We prepare them by teaching them to keep the faith and live for God. We teach them by our own actions and the way we live. The bible tells us to put on the full armor of God. We do this by studying his word. We must know and understand the word of God. We need to teach it to our children and grandchildren so that they can hide it in their hearts and cling to it on the day that they may feel discouragement. This is not a war of flesh and blood going on around us, but of spirits and principalities. This is biblical. The angels and the demons are fighting over us all the time and all around us. Satan wants to destroy us and our families. He knows the best way to hurt us is through our families and our loved ones. We must keep the faith and continue to trust God in all things. This world is just a temporary place. We are just traaveling through. The choices we make affect our lives and the lives of the generations to follow us. We leave footprints for them to follow. How clear are the footprints?? Do they go back and forth between the 2 camps? Do they get off course frequently? STay focused on Jesus. STay the course, keep the faith. Make your footprints clear in which direction to go.... The storms come and the storms go, but Jesus is our constant refuge and our anchor in times of trouble. Hold to his promises. Don't give up the fight. There is a rainbow at the end of the storm. And for each storm we survive, we become a little stronger. Our God is good, he is faithful and he is merciful....he is worthy of praise.....He will never let go of us......so we need to continue Holding to him......do not fall for the lies of the evil one.....stay focused....stay the course.....Hold to Jesus.....
