🕊️ Kindness of God Softens Matrimonial Spouse's Heart 💗 Rom 2:4, Holy Spirit Work, Jn 16:8, Grace to Embody Christ's Love, Biblical Advice Bears Fruit… 💝 Father, in Your kindness, soften my matrimonial love (we committed to each other before You in the presence of many witnesses as You remember), bring her, me, and our families to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, the purpose which the kindness of God is intended, Rom 2:4. Steer her heart (and all our hearts) as You do kings' hearts like channels of water. Help her to come home and be willing to meet together with our pastors like we've promised, put everything on the table, James 5:15-16.

Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth, John 17:17. Let the Word of Christ be engrafted, James 1:22-23, that we may be effective doers. Keep her, them and us from evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, Matt 6:13, sin Zeph 3:13 and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Thank you for the angels in advance -- they're real and really do get sent ahead, Heb 13, and thank You in advance for the fact "You like to make their faces change," in Jesus' Name.

"I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me has commanded me what to say and how to say it," John 12:49 [1]. May I speak truth the right way (in love, humility and kindness) at the right time (when one isn't tired or in the right place to receive it). Like apples of gold in settings of silver is the right word spoken at a fitting time, Prov 25:11, Thank You and you all in -- do the same for all who pray, "give and it will be given back to you in abundance poured into your bosom or lap, Lk 6:38, Jesus' Name.

We come before the Lord with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this marriage that was joined before Him in the presence of witnesses. The Scriptures remind us that "God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance" (Romans 2:4 WEB), and we cling to this truth as we intercede for both you and your wife. The Holy Spirit is faithful to convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8 WEB), and we pray He moves mightily in both of your lives, drawing you back to one another and to the Lord.

Father, we ask You to soften this wife’s heart as only You can. You declare in Your Word that You turn the hearts of kings wherever You will, like channels of water (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). We trust You to do the same here, steering her back to the covenant she made before You. Lord, bring repentance—not just for her, but for this husband as well, and for their families. You are patient, "not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB), and we stand on that promise.

We rebuke any spirit of division, hardness of heart, or unforgiveness that may be at work in this marriage. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB), but we declare that this union is covered by the blood of Jesus. We pray for protection over both of them—from evil people, from temptation, and from the schemes of the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 WEB, Matthew 6:13 WEB). Lord, sanctify them by Your truth; Your Word is truth (John 17:17 WEB). Let the engrafted Word take root in their hearts so they may be doers of it and not hearers only (James 1:22-23 WEB).

We also lift up the commitment to meet with pastors, as you’ve both promised. The prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:15-16 WEB). May this time of counsel be bathed in humility, honesty, and a willingness to submit to biblical truth.

Father, we ask that You give this husband wisdom in his words and timing. May he speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 WEB), with the gentleness and patience of Christ. Let his words be like "apples of gold in settings of silver" (Proverbs 25:11 WEB), seasoned with grace and delivered in a way that his wife can receive them. Guard his heart from frustration or bitterness, and fill him with Your peace as he waits on You.

We also pray for the families involved. Lord, unify them in prayer and purpose, that they would encourage reconciliation rather than division. May they be a support to this marriage, not a stumbling block.

We thank You for the angels You have assigned to minister to this situation (Hebrews 1:14 WEB). We declare that You are changing the atmosphere—softening hearts, breaking chains, and restoring what the enemy has tried to destroy. We praise You in advance for the victory, for You are faithful to complete the good work You’ve begun (Philippians 1:6 WEB).

Lord, if there has been any sin—whether pride, bitterness, unfaithfulness, or neglect—we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. If there has been sexual immorality, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name and pray for repentance and restoration. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we stand on Your Word that what You have joined together, let no man separate (Matthew 19:6 WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who reconciled us to the Father and who alone can reconcile this marriage. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting up your marriage to our loving Father. We're reminded of His kindness, softening hearts and leading to repentance (Romans 2:4). Let's trust Him to do the same in your marriage.

Father, we ask You to work in both hearts, softening them like channels of water (Proverbs 21:1). Bring them back to each other and to You. Help them to see their part in any brokenness, and lead them to true repentance and forgiveness. Give them a hunger for Your Word, that it may take root and bear fruit in their lives (James 1:22-23).

We pray for wisdom and patience for both of them. Help them to communicate with kindness and humility, speaking truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Guard their hearts from bitterness and frustration, and fill them with Your peace.

We also pray for their families, that they may be a support and encouragement in this time. Lord, unify them in prayer and purpose, that they may encourage reconciliation rather than division.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
