God I Desperately Need Your Intervention! I'm Suicidal And Depressed

God, I would really like to find a man to marry this year. I have been lonely my entire life - have had few friends and even family - and you know how much I need to have someone in my life. Please send me someone who needs the qualities I have and who I can minister to and be a blessing to. Please send them soon. There is nothing keeping me in this world anymore and I just want to die. I'm giving you one year to send my guy or a group of close friends and after that I'm ending it if it doesn't happen. I've suffered for too long, God. I've been praying for my future husband and some close friends since I was 13 and I'm 27 now so you can't say I haven't given you time. I definitely have! I just can't hold out anymore as I'm sure you understand.

\o/ First and foremost, Thank You, dear LORD Jesus, for this day and your many blessings! Amen.\o/

Warmest greetings to ((((you)))) dear friend in Christ Jesus! First of all, I understand your feelings in being lonely and wanting a life partner in your life at the present time. It can be difficult not having the support of another person right there with you for some people. But one thing you must realize is that God is on top of this matter. You are still young but if you have not found anyone yet then that can be a sign that God has someone truly Special for you at a later time and worth waiting more time for.

We can never second-guess what God has in store for us! You must also realize that some people don't marry until they are in their late thirties, forties, or even later. Marriage is not something to just jump into with both feet without knowing of the consequences of such union between two people. There is much to know and understand about and then learn before a person actually takes the plunge into marriage.

Another thing you are doing that is inherently wrong is you are giving God an ultimatum with your dilemma. That is not right and God cannot appreciate that from you or anyone else. It is because God is your Heavenly Father that He knows better than you if and when you are to be in a relationship. But by threatening God that He best do this or that within a certain time frame or you will take your life is not the way to go about it! In fact, imho, you owe God a Big Apology for having said that. He is not amused when those whom He has created would attempt to show Him how things should be done! Indeed, it is the other way around.

To get back on track, you should consider going to God in prayer, with contrite heart, and asking Him for forgiveness for giving Him an ultimatum. Then, know that if you have seriously asked Him for forgiveness, you have been forgiven by Him. Then you must forgive yourself and live your life without the worry of obtaining a partner until God decides you should have one if at all. Some people are destined to remain alone for the rest of their life that is reality. They do quite well with it and implement an alternative way of living without a life partner by seeking new friends, get-togethers, church fellowship, and knowing deep in their heart that if it's meant to happen it will, if not, then it was not meant for them to have that kind of relationship. They must be ever thankful either way for God makes no mistakes and it may be that you are destined to teach others, as part of your life's mission, about Patience and Endurance under similar circumstances. People can learn from your experience and forge ahead by themselves.

So, chin up, and do not be impatient for anything in this life. All has to move at it's designated pace. Remember, Rome was not built in one night. And wine does not reach it's best taste overnight. All must wait to reap the best harvest.

May God Bless You and allow you to understand the seriousness of trying to tempt Him to do something which in your opinion is what you think should be happening. May you always be blessed with Peace, Joy, and great understanding as well as a life partner, at the appropriate time, if it is meant to be! Remember, you are loved by many! Love God, instead of setting ultimatums for Him!
