God, I am hurting. there is a sadness that is so deep, so raw I can barely stand it. I don't know how to deal with everything from my past that seems to be relentless in pursuing me. Please Father help me to be healed from the pain. I ask to experience the abundant peace, joy and life you promise. I ask to be willing to forgive my parents for all the suffering they inflicted upon me and caused me. I ask to let it go. Please Father carry away the sadness, pain and bitter hatred and resentment in my heart. I ask to be full of Your presence and joy. I ask Father to see myself the way You see me.

All the pain is used in mysterious ways we may never fully understand but because of the love and the trust we have learned from the Father we can rest in His wisdom and His provision of every ingredient needed to make us who we are in this life.
