Beloved of All
God help lady. She is supposed to have two interviews one in the morning and one in the afternoon. One job location is where she is supposed to be working in in her field but she needs teacher certification to be done to be a teacher. She doesn't have that yet. The other job is a healthcare job. Please help her. She didn't fully finish certification because she had lost a baby and it was difficult for her to work with smaller children. But she now has to find a different job because of clash of work scheduling from her second job.

We are lifting up this dear lady before the Lord with you and we thank you for bringing her burden to us. Our hearts are deeply moved by her loss and we grieve with her over the baby she lost. The Lord sees that pain and He is near to those who carry such sorrow. Psalm 34:18 tells us The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 reminds us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We understand why finishing her teacher certification and working with small children would be so difficult after such a loss and we ask God to continue His gentle healing work in her heart.

We also notice your request calls upon God for help but does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead we will be saved as Romans 10:9 promises. It is in His name we pray and find mercy and help in time of need.

We are praying for her two interviews, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We ask the Lord to grant her peace that surpasses understanding and to calm any anxiety as Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray she will be able to be honest and gracious about where she is in her certification process and that the employers will receive her with understanding.

We pray for wisdom for her concerning these two very different paths. One job is in the field she has trained for yet requires certification she has not yet completed. The other is in healthcare. We trust that God directs our steps and we lean on Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. We ask that God would clearly open the door He wants her to walk through and close the one He does not, for He promises in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We also lift up the scheduling conflict with her second job that has made this change necessary. We ask God to provide work that will sustain her and allow her to use the gifts He has given her while also bringing stability and rest. Whatever she does we pray she may do it heartily as for the Lord as Colossians 3:23 teaches and that she will know the Lord is her provider and comforter. Isaiah 41:10 assures us Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Father in heaven we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and we lift up this precious daughter to You. You know her by name, You have seen her tears over her child and You have collected them. Bring healing to the deep places of her heart and comfort her as only You can. We ask You to go before her into both interviews tomorrow. Give her clarity of mind, words of grace and a calm spirit. Let Your favor rest upon her. Guide the interviewers to see her strengths and give her wisdom to answer honestly about her certification. If it is Your will for her to return to teaching, make a way for her to complete what is needed in Your perfect timing and restore her joy in working with children when she is ready. If You are leading her into healthcare, open that door wide and provide for every need. Provide a job that resolves the scheduling clash and gives her provision and peace. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus our hope and our redeemer. Amen.

We encourage her to rest in the Lord's leading, to prepare diligently for both opportunities and to trust that God will make her path clear. He has not forgotten her training or her sorrow and He will use both for His glory as she seeks Him first.

We are praying with you for this woman as she heads into these two interviews today.

We hear how much is layered here. Losing a baby is such a deep loss, and it makes sense that pausing her certification and stepping back from work with small children was what she needed at the time. Grief affects energy, focus, and what feels doable each day, and it is different for everyone. Now to also be facing pressure to find different work because of a scheduling clash with her second job is a lot to carry at once.

A practical way to come alongside her right now could be to help her go into each conversation as clearly as possible. For the school position, it may help to be open about where her certification stands and to ask what roles or timelines might still be possible, and for the healthcare position, to think through honestly whether the hours and demands fit her life right now. Just having someone to sit with her afterwards to listen and debrief, without needing to fix anything, can be a steady support too.

Father, we lift this woman to You. You see her loss, her need for steady work, and the decisions in front of her today. Give her peace this morning and afternoon, wisdom in each interview, and gracious people on the other side of the table. Provide for her needs and guide her next steps according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have carried your burden for this lady to the throne of grace and have sought the Lord on her behalf in her time of need.

It is a tender sorrow to lose a little one, and such a wound makes the heart to break indeed. Scripture tells us, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, but a broken heart is a deeper ill, and only the great Physician can cure it. There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in His fruit but in His leaves, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and those leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. May the Lord who has seen her grief and her tears lay His healing hand upon her, and give her that pardon and healing which go together when Jesus says, Thy sins are forgiven thee, and bids the palsied soul to rise and walk.

We have prayed that the Lord will be her wisdom and provider in these two interviews, the one in the morning and the one in the afternoon. One would place her in her field yet requires a teacher certification which she has not completed, and the other would place her in healthcare. She turned aside from finishing her certification because sorrow made it hard to work with smaller children after her loss, and now a clash of scheduling presses her to seek other work. We ask the Lord to order her steps, to give her clarity to discern which path is of His providence, to grant her favour with those who interview her, and to open the door which is most for her good and His glory. If it be His will that she return to teaching in due season, may He heal her heart so that she can again look upon little children with hope, and if He appoints her to the healthcare work, may He make her a minister of mercy there, for healing must come before serving, and Christ first takes us by the hand and lifts us up before we can rise and minister to others.

O Lord, look upon this thy servant in her loss and her necessity. Forgive her sins through the blood of Jesus Christ, heal her broken heart, and let the healing virtue of thy grace work in her till she is whole. Provide for her daily bread, guide her in her labour, and let her know that Calvary is the place of the healing balm. Give her peace to trust thy hand when the way is not clear, and let her hear thy voice saying, Return unto me and I will heal thee. May she find that when Jesus dwells with His people, they have no need to say, I am sick, for the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will sustain her, establish her, and make her to know the abundance of His healing and pardoning love in Christ Jesus. Amen.
