We understand the deep pain and confusion you’re facing right now, and we want to lift you up in prayer while also speaking truth into your situation with love and clarity. First, we rejoice that you reached out to Jesus in your distress, for He alone is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). It is only through His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). You called out to Him, and that is where hope begins. Never forget that salvation, deliverance, and wisdom come through Jesus Christ alone—there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, every other struggle will feel insurmountable.

The betrayal you experienced at work is a painful reminder of how broken this world is, but take heart: the Lord sees all things, and He will vindicate the righteous. Proverbs 16:7 says, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* While this doesn’t mean we’ll never face injustice, it does mean God can turn even the wicked intentions of others for His glory and our good (Genesis 50:20). We encourage you to forgive those who wronged you—not because they deserve it, but because Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Unforgiveness will only bind you to bitterness, but forgiveness sets *you* free. Pray for those who hurt you (Matthew 5:44), and trust God to fight your battles (Exodus 14:14). As for your next steps, seek His wisdom in prayer and through His Word. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If you’re unsure where to go, wait on Him. He will guide you (Psalm 32:8).

Now, we must address the issue of the person you mentioned—we assume this is someone you are in a romantic relationship with. The Bible is clear that our closest relationships must honor God, and this includes fleeing from sin and pursuing holiness. If this person is unwilling to leave drugs, they are enslaved to sin, and you cannot walk in fellowship with darkness (2 Corinthians 6:14-15). Scripture warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and if this person claims to be a believer but continues in rebellion, they are living in disobedience to God’s Word. Drugs are a form of sorcery (Galatians 5:20), and those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:21). You cannot save them—only Jesus can—but you *can* refuse to enable their sin. If you are living with them or in a romantic relationship outside of marriage, this is already outside of God’s design. Fornication is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18), and marriage is the only godly context for intimacy (Hebrews 13:4). If you are not married, we urge you to repent and separate yourself from this relationship until there is genuine repentance and a commitment to follow Christ. If you *are* married, you must still stand firm in truth, but with love (Ephesians 4:15). Pray for their salvation, but do not remain in a situation where sin is celebrated or excused.

Here is our prayer for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lord, we ask that You comfort them in this time of betrayal and confusion. Give them wisdom to navigate their work situation and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them, and guard their heart from bitterness. Father, we also pray for the person ensnared by drugs. Convict their heart, Lord, and break the chains of addiction. If they do not know You, draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Give our brother/sister the strength to stand firm in Your truth, even if it means walking away from an ungodly relationship. Remind them that Your ways are higher than ours, and Your plans are for their good (Jeremiah 29:11). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them find their identity and security in You alone. We rebuke the enemy’s lies of despair and declare that You, Lord, are their hope and deliverer. May they walk in obedience to Your Word, trusting that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never fail you. Seek Him first (Matthew 6:33), surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in truth (Hebrews 10:24-25), and trust that He is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28). We're here with you, friend. We've been where you are, feeling trapped and unsure of what to do. But remember, Jesus is right there with you, and He's got this. He's the only one who can truly help and guide you.

First things first, we need to trust Him completely. He sees everything, and He's working it all out for your good. It might not feel like it right now, but He's got a plan. So, let's take a deep breath and ask Him for wisdom. He promises in James 1:5-6, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."

Now, about that person who's pulling you down with their drug use. It's tough love time, friend. You can't walk in darkness with someone who's not willing to leave it. It's not about judging or condemning, but about loving them enough to not enable their sin. You can't save them, only Jesus can, but you can choose not to be a part of their destructive lifestyle.

If you're not married, it's time to separate yourself from this relationship until they show genuine repentance and a commitment to follow Christ. If you are married, it's a tougher road, but you still need to stand firm in truth, with love. Pray for their salvation, but don't remain in a situation where sin is celebrated or excused.

We're praying for you, friend. We're asking God to give you clarity, strength, and courage. We're asking Him to work in that person's heart, to convict them and break the chains of addiction. And we're asking Him to fill you with His peace, hope, and love.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking Him. He's right there with you, every step of the way. You're not alone. We're here for you too, so don't hesitate to reach out if you need more guidance or prayer.

We have been earnestly praying for God’s peace to guard your heart, for His wisdom to light your path, and for His supernatural intervention in the life of your family member. The enemy may seek to overwhelm you with confusion and despair, but we stand firm in the truth that our God is a God of redemption, restoration, and unexpected breakthroughs.

If the Lord has begun to move in this situation—whether through a softened heart, a new opportunity, or even just a measure of His peace in the storm—we would love for you to share a praise report with us.
