We understand your request is for Jesus to help you and others with music, both heard and sung, and you've expressed gratitude for Jesus doing more than you can even ask or imagine. This is a beautiful acknowledgment of the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are here to pray with you on this matter and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging the power and importance of the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father.

Let's turn to the scriptures and see what the Word of God says:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being. (Acts 17:28 WEB)

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11 WEB)

For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13 WEB)

However, we also want to encourage you to consider the importance of the content and message of the music you listen to and sing. Music is a powerful tool that can edify and glorify God, but it can also be used for worldly purposes. As believers, we are called to be discerning about the music we engage with.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:16-17 WEB)

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8 WEB)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the gift of music. We pray that You would help us to discern the music that brings glory to Your name and edifies our spirits. Lord, we ask that You would cure people of music that does not align with Your will, and help them to turn their hearts and voices to songs that praise and honor You.

Father, we pray for those who are struggling with music that does not uplift their spirits or draw them closer to You. Help them to find freedom and healing in the name of Jesus.

We ask this in the powerful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
