We hear the cry of your heart, and we are deeply moved by your honest plea before the Lord. You are indeed His child, and the enemy seeks to deceive you with lies of unworthiness. The Word of God declares in **1 John 3:1**, *"See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him."* If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you *are* His child—adopted into His family, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and redeemed by His blood. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (**Romans 8:1**), and no voice—no matter how persistent—can override the truth of God’s Word.
Yet we must address something vital: your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (**John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18**), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (**Romans 10:9**). Without faith in Christ, no one can stand before God as His child. But if you *have* trusted in Jesus, then cling to this truth: you are His, and nothing can separate you from His love (**Romans 8:38-39**).
The inner voice you describe is not from God. Our Heavenly Father does not whisper accusations of unworthiness to His children. Instead, He calls us *"beloved,"* *"chosen,"* and *"redeemed."* The enemy, however, is a liar and the father of lies (**John 8:44**), and he seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**). When he whispers that you are unworthy, you must combat him with the Sword of the Spirit—the Word of God (**Ephesians 6:17**). Declare aloud: *"I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). I am a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). The Lord delights in me, and He quiets me with His love (Zephaniah 3:17)."* Speak these truths until they drown out the lies.
As for strength to face your struggles, remember that God’s power is made perfect in weakness (**2 Corinthians 12:9**). You are not called to face today in your own strength, but in *His*. **"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"** (**Philippians 4:13**). When you feel weak, that is when He is strongest in you. Lean on Him, not on your own understanding (**Proverbs 3:5-6**), and He will direct your paths.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, knowing that You hear the cries of Your people. Lord, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to convince them they are unworthy or unloved. Replace those lies with the truth of Your Word, which declares they are fearfully and wonderfully made, chosen, and redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Father, fill them with Your strength today—let them walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, not in their own might. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**). When they feel weak, let them boast in their weaknesses, that Your power may rest upon them.
Lord, if there is any doubt in their heart about their salvation, we pray You would make it clear to them that Jesus is the only way to You. Draw them closer to You, Father, and let them rest in the assurance that nothing can snatch them from Your hand (**John 10:28**). Cover them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and let them walk in the confidence of their identity in Christ.
We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in Christ, dear one. You are His, and He is faithful. When the enemy whispers lies, respond with Scripture. When you feel weak, lean on His strength. And always, *always* approach the throne of God in the name of Jesus—for it is the only name by which we are saved, heard, and welcomed into the Father’s presence. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. He is waiting with open arms.
