God Always Loves Us

I thought i would make a post about how much god really loves us.  I am deeply troubled about some of the post that was made here today against our heavenly father.  A few people posted here today requesting that god end their life. I want to say I believe this is wrong to make this kind of request to god.  Before we came from our mother's womb, god already knew us and our life here on earth had already been planned.  We didn't give ourselves life.  This means it's not up to us when we should depart and leave this earth.  Our lives belong to god and only he has the right or the final say so when we will pass away.  How can anyone question the love Jesus has for his children.  He gave up his precious life and hung on the cross in order for us to have everlasting life.  Some complained and said that Jesus didn't love them because he didn't answer their prayer yet.  All prayers are not good prayers and are not in god's infinite will and mercy to be answered.  Some act as if they are on lets make a deal and are trying to bargain with god.  It just doesn't work like that..  God does not answer vain prayers or those that are not in our best interest.  Just because Jesus don't  answer us as soon as we get off our knees, does not mean that he's not going to answer. It also does not mean he's stopped loving us.  If he doesn't answer simply means he saw that what we were asking was not good for us.  One person stated that they were told by a prophet that god would never answer their prayer and they could never go back to god again because they didn't love him enough.  God is going to judge these prophets for misleading his people.  The bible said that god will never leave us or forsake us.  No matter what sins we commit god still loves us and is always ready to forgive our sins.  The only sins you can't be forgiven for is blaspheming the holy ghost and self murder.  Any other sins god will lovingly forgive because he's our heavenly father.  He said in his word that he would never leave us or forsake us.  It really hurts me to know that people believe a so called prophet before they believe god.  The devil have prophets that can tell you about your life just like god.  We must pray and never faint.  We can't just pray when times are hard.  We have to pray in both good times and bad.  Another thing is being thankful.  Thank god for what you already have and then things will start to change for you.  Someone said that god does not talk to them.  He talks to you through reading his holy word but you are so busy complaining you can't hear his voice. The bible says without faith it's impossible to please god. You're complaining against the one that gave you life.  How do you expect to be blessed?  There is no one in this world that suffered any worse than Jesus.  He was whipped, scorned and above all he gave up his life for you.  He did something that not even your own mother or father would do.  How can you say he doesn't love you.  I'm sorry to write such a long post but I get very emotional when someone speaks against our creator.  Let's start giving god thanks and praise for what he's already done for us and what he's still doing.  God don't owe us anything.  It's we that owe him.  As a last note he's not obligated to answer any of our prayers if it's not in his father's will.  He is god and he tells us what to do.  You can't give god a time to answer you because he has no time.  We as humans are the ones that have to worry about time.  I hope this helps.

Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Kathy , for you to take the time to type out this post , it shows great love and wisdom for the Lord's people , this prayer site is blessed to have you here , what you have said has needed to be said .

I don't think you get it. Have you ever felt this way? Have you ever been so down that you wanted God to take you home? If not then you cannot relate to people who are in such agonizing emotional pain. If you cannot have empathy then maybe it is best to say nothing.

Some of what you said is correct theologically but there is a lack of empathy which I am concerned about considering that people come here to ask for prayers because they are in pain. A little bit of compassion goes a long way and perhaps you need to think what is really behind such requests. Some people think people are ungrateful and selfish and that may or may not be the case. If you choose to look at it that way that is your choice. You don't know the heart of the person submitting the prayer so perhaps you might consider that they are in great emotional pain or perhaps they suffer from depression and have tried everything humanly possible to improve their lives and nothing is working.

I have been there many times and it is only by the grace of God that I am still here and have not taken my life. I have felt this way many times and something has always kept me from sealing the deal.

Try some empathy. This is a very cold world and so few know the real value of true humility and empathy.

Hopeful23, I get it very well and yes I have both empathy and sympathy as well.  I have been so depressed about my childhood that I asked god why was I ever born.  I can relate very well but just because I and others can relate is not helping the situation.  Prayer and constantly talking to god is the answer.  Depression is definitely not a good feeling I know, I've been there and done that.  Even though people told me they were sorry and that they would be praying for me my problem was still there.  I am deeply depressed now myself because I have been trying to find a job and I keep getting rejected.  What am I supposed to do?  Give up??? No way and no how.  I can't give up and stop trying.  There are so many others out of a job as myself.  It makes me stronger and want to try harder.  What I need is prayer and quality time with god. He is the only one that can help me.  Having empathy and maybe a little sympathy does help but it does not fix or solve the problem.  No matter what we are going through, we must never question god.  He allows certain situations to happen to get your attention to bring you closer to him. Look what happened to job. The devil took everything he had. He never gave up and above all he still had faith and trusted in god.  The worse things get for me the more I cry out to my god for help.  I understand what you are saying about empathy and you are right but empathy can't find me a job.  I have to get up and make a effort on my own.  The world is not cold, it's the people in it. That's all the more reason to try and  pick yourself up.  If you don't try to help yourself no one else will. It's up to you to be the best that you can be.  Knowing this is all the more reason you need to keep seeking god's face.  Everybody in this world get's depressed from time to time but that's no reason to give up and throw in the towel. Feeling sorry for ones self is not going to make your problems go away but god can take them away forever.

Kathy, sorry you feel a need to defend yourself. I really don't need your lectures. I never said empathy can find you a job. You have twisted what I said. This was not about you but about you stating someone was against God by wanting to have their life end. I'm just telling you that people feel this way because they are in a lot of pain. It is not an affront or insult to God but a cry of desperation.

Also please consider that not everyone is like you. Some people are weaker and some are stronger. All I ask is that you have a little more compassion and understanding.

Hopeful 23 I have not twisted anything you said. I can see that you want to argue but I'm not up to that.  I never said this was about me.  However when someone speaks against god and say that he is rejecting them and does not love them anymore as a child in christ it is my christian duty to defend gods honor.  If this offended you I'm sorry but I'm not going to stop.  I know all about pain and heartache which is why I pray as much as I do.  I am aware that everybody is not like me. I never said they should be.  Yes there are people that are not as strong as others which is why they should pray more and reach out for help. I have a lot of compassion for others and I'm very giving but I'm not going to stop saying that god helps those that helps themselves. I pray and cry out to god for everyone on this site but people still have to take that first step and try and help themselves. When we make one step god makes two. I don't find the need to defend myself either. I am entitled to my beliefs just as you are entitled to yours. I am not going to pray for someone to die. That just isn't right no matter how depressed they are. Jesus said he come that we  have life more abundantly. He also said the words he speak is life. Why would I go against god's words and ask him to end someones life? How is that going to help? I am not trying to lecture you. You took it upon yourself to post to my comment. I spoke what was on my heart and what I feel. I still feel the same way. That will not change. There are others on this site that are saying pretty much the same thing I am saying.   I guess they don't have compassion either. If someone has made up their mind that they don't want to pray anymore, that's up to them. Others as well as myself have tried to reach out and convey that god never stops loving us no matter what. Also if someone is going to try and read god's mind by saying it's no point in praying because god is not going to answer anyway tells me they have pretty much made up their mind. God wants us to pray to him but he's not going to stop being god just because we choose to stop praying to him. I am not going to keep trying to reach out to those that are set in their ways and refuse to listen to reason. Anyway, you have a blessed day.

Kathy, I really don't like your tone with me. You are the one who needs to be right. You made a generic post and I found your post offensive and insensitive and that is why I took it upon myself to respond to it. You never stated in your post which particular prayer you were referring to but just made a blanket statement. You claim I want to argue but yet it is you that is arguing with me and you have not understood what I am saying but have twisted my meaning. You have also assumed things which are not true.

I never said for you or anyone else to pray for someone to die. That is ridiculous. Are you accusing me of this? Then you are trying to invalidate what I am saying by saying all these people agree with you and accusing are they without compassion also?

I don't understand how you go on the defensive and attack me and then say have a blessed day? Very strange. Please if you are not even willing to look at yourself and at least consider what I am saying then there is no need to respond to me with such attacks.

My retort was meant for people that are genuinely hurting and want to end their life and not for people that mock God and like to play mind games. There is a big difference and I would hope you come to see that.
