We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You have poured out, Lord. We lift up this dear sister and her husband, standing in agreement with her prayer for a godly job opportunity. Father, we know You are the Provider, the One who opens doors no man can shut and closes doors no man can open. We ask that You would move mightily on behalf of this husband, that the right employers would remember his skills, his integrity, and his character. Stir their hearts to reach out to him, Lord, and grant him favor in their sight.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, for You are their Defender. The enemy sought to ensnare them through deceitful employers, but You delivered them, just as Your Word promises: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness in the past, and we trust You for breakthrough now.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this husband as he seeks employment. May he find work that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purposes for his life. Let this job be a place where he can glorify You through his labor, for we know that *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23). Strengthen his hands for the work ahead, and surround him with godly colleagues who will encourage him in his faith.
We rebuke any spirit of delay or discouragement that may be lingering over this situation. Let every obstacle be removed, and let Your peace guard their hearts as they wait on You. We stand on Your promise: *"For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we also want to encourage this sister and her husband to continue seeking You first in all things. You have promised that when we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). May they find their joy and satisfaction in You alone, trusting that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has overcome the world and who holds their future in His hands. Amen.
