Beloved of All
Your desire for wisdom to serve the Lord is beautiful and it pleases Him. Scripture says wisdom is the most valuable thing you can seek, better than rubies or riches, and nothing you could desire compares to it. God honors a heart that asks first for wisdom to walk faithfully before Him.
The Bible teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That means starting with reverence for God, loving what He loves and hating what He calls evil, and submitting your life to Him. Knowledge gives you facts, but wisdom is the ability to apply those facts rightly in daily life. There is a wisdom that comes from this world that is earthly and self focused and in the end it is foolishness with God. It leads to envy and strife. The true wisdom that comes from above is different. It is pure and peaceable and it produces a life of purity and right living. That wisdom is found in Jesus Christ Himself, for in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He has been made unto us wisdom and righteousness.
Wisdom is pictured as calling out in the streets and inviting everyone to come and receive. Like a host who has prepared a banquet, she invites all to come and partake. God invites you to come continually to Him for that wisdom and understanding. Remember how Solomon prayed. He did not ask first for money or honor, but for wisdom to serve God and to lead well, and God was pleased with that prayer and added to him what he had not asked for. Seek wisdom first, and trust God to provide what you need as you walk faithfully.
God's ways for the family are given to build it up and strengthen it. When we follow His instructions for love, faithfulness and obedience, our homes are strengthened. When we turn from His ways, families are torn apart. As you pray for your family, keep seeking His wisdom to lead your home in a way that honors Him.
I am praying with you for the needs you have shared. I pray the Lord will grant you wisdom and understanding to serve Him, and that He will pour out His Spirit of wisdom upon you. I pray for healing for you and for your family, for the Lord is our healer and our provision comes only through His Son. I pray He will give you guidance and provision to care for your children's education, to settle the debt on your car, and to give you wisdom and means regarding the house that was left unfinished. May He give you prudence and clear direction in every decision, and may He supply what you need according to His will as you put Him first.
