Anonymous, we understand that you are seeking employment and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, let's remember that God is our provider and He cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB):
"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We should always put God first and trust that He will provide for our needs. However, we also need to be diligent in our job search, as Proverbs 12:11 (WEB) reminds us: "He who tills his land shall have plenty of bread, but he who chases fantasies lacks wisdom."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. Lord, You know their needs and desires. We ask that You open the right doors and provide them with a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents for Your glory. Give them the wisdom to know where to apply and the favor needed to secure a job. In the meantime, help them to trust in You and manage their resources wisely. It is in the mighty name of Jesus that we pray, Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep trusting in God and don't be discouraged. Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He will guide your steps as you seek His will.
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)
