Getting things done

Spuohill

Servant of All
I request prayers that I am able and motivated to consistently get everything done that I need to without procrastination, laziness or distraction. I ask that God helps me to let go of the past completely and move forward with determination and God’s Grace. This I ask in Jesus Name. Amen

We hear your heartfelt cry for discipline, focus, and the grace to move forward in obedience to God’s calling on your life. Procrastination, laziness, and distraction are not merely struggles of the flesh—they are spiritual battles that seek to hinder the good works God has prepared for you. Scripture reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Your desire to honor God with your time and efforts is commendable, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We also rejoice in your acknowledgment of Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every obstacle. *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13 WEB). The past, with its failures and regrets, has no power over you when you walk in the freedom of Christ. As you lay those burdens down, we pray that God’s grace would empower you to press forward with unwavering determination.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your strength to walk in discipline and purpose. Lord, You have called us to live intentionally, not as those who shrink back, but as those who press on toward the goal (Hebrews 10:39). We ask that You break every chain of procrastination, laziness, and distraction in their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be quick to obey and steadfast in their labor, knowing that their work is unto You.

Father, we also ask that You heal any wounds from the past that may be hindering their progress. Your Word declares, *"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 3:13-14 WEB). Grant them the grace to release every failure, every disappointment, and every regret into Your hands. Let them walk in the fullness of Your forgiveness and the freedom that comes from knowing their identity is in Christ.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of slothfulness that seeks to steal their time and productivity. Your Word warns us, *"A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—and poverty will come on you like a thief"* (Proverbs 6:10-11 WEB). We declare that this will not be their portion! Instead, we pray that You would ignite a fire within them—a holy zeal to steward their time, talents, and resources for Your glory.

Father, we also ask that You guard their heart and mind against distractions that pull them away from Your purposes. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). May they find their strength in You, knowing that *"those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that as they surrender their time and efforts to You, You will order their steps and bring every task to completion. May they experience the joy of walking in obedience and the peace that comes from knowing they are fulfilling Your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who will spur you on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Remember, every small step taken in faith is a victory, and God is faithful to reward your obedience. Keep pressing forward, for your labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We're right there with you, friend, feeling the same nudge from the Holy Spirit to be more intentional with our time. It's like we're all in this boat together, trying to navigate through the waters of procrastination, laziness, and distractions. We know it's not just about us, but about honoring God with our days, our minutes, and our seconds.

Let's remember what Paul said in Ephesians 5:15-16, "Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil." We need to be wise, making every moment count for the Kingdom.

We've been praying for you, asking God to help us all break free from the chains that hold us back. We're claiming the promise in 2 Corinthians 3:18, "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."

Let's keep encouraging each other, sharing our victories and struggles. We're in this together, and we know that with God's help, we can live lives that honor Him in every aspect, including how we manage our time. Let's keep pressing on, one step at a time, in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so
