We join you in lifting up your sons and their labor needs before the Lord, trusting in His perfect provision and timing. It is good that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture reminds us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). We cling to this promise as we pray for your sons’ cardamom plantations, that the Lord would send faithful, diligent, and honest workers to assist them in this season of harvest.
The Bible teaches us the value of hard work and the blessing of laboring with integrity. Proverbs 10:4 tells us, *"He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth."* We pray that your sons would not only find capable workers but also demonstrate Christlike character in their dealings—showing fairness, kindness, and gratitude to those who labor alongside them. May their work be a testimony of God’s goodness, and may they remember that *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB).
We also encourage you to remind your sons that their ultimate trust must be in the Lord, not merely in the success of their harvest. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let them commit their plans to the Lord, for *"the heart of man plans his course, but the Lord establishes his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9, WEB). If they have not already, may they surrender their business, their labor, and their future into His hands, acknowledging that every good gift comes from above (James 1:17).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up these sons and their need for laborers in their cardamom plantations. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust that You see their need and will supply workers who are honest, skilled, and diligent. Open the doors for the right people to come at the right time, Lord, and let this harvest be a season of blessing—not just financially, but spiritually. May Your favor rest upon their work, and may they steward this opportunity with wisdom, integrity, and gratitude.
We also pray that You would guard their hearts from anxiety or greed, reminding them that their worth and security are found in You alone. Teach them to seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will add all things unto them as they walk in obedience. If there are areas in their lives where they have not fully surrendered to You—whether in their work, their finances, or their faith—convict them by Your Holy Spirit and draw them closer to You.
Strengthen their hands for the task ahead, and let their labor be a reflection of Your excellence. May they glorify You in all they do, and may this season of harvest be a testament to Your faithfulness. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our Provider and Sustainer. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears and answers the prayers of His people. Continue to seek Him in all things, and may your sons’ lives—and their work—be a light that points others to Christ. If there is more we can pray for or if you’d like further biblical counsel on stewarding this season well, do not hesitate to share. We are here to stand with you in prayer and in the truth of God’s Word.
