We are thrilled to join you in prayer as you seek new employment. It's wonderful to hear about your recent interviews. Before we begin, we need to mention that the only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ, His son. It is in Jesus' name that we pray and submit our requests to God. We trust that you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, so that we can effectively pray for you. If you haven't made this decision, we would love to pray together for a decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, since it is the most important decision in life. If you have made this decision, we can pray for a new job. We will pray for God's will to be done and for the job that He has prepared for you.
Remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He will guide you to the right job at the right time. Trust in Him and His timing. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares Yahweh, “plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking new employment. We thank You for the opportunities they have had to interview with three different companies this week. Lord, we ask that You guide and direct their steps. Open the door that You would have them walk through, and close the doors that are not part of Your plan.
We pray that the job You have prepared for them will be clear, and that they will receive a job offer that is aligned with Your will. Help them to trust in You and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and follow His guidance. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We encourage you to also look for opportunities to witness to coworkers in this new job. When you are working in a job that is in God's will, you can be happy and fulfilled. You may also be able to disciple coworkers and share the Gospel with others.

Keep your heart open to His guidance, and remember, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding." Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
