We understand your concerns for your daughter's education and your husband's employment. Firstly, we appreciate that you acknowledged the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Regarding your daughter, we pray that God's will be done in her life. While we understand your desire for her to secure a seat in a prestigious medical college, we also want her to trust God's plan for her future. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, God says, "For I know the plans that I have for you;' says Yahweh, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.'" We pray that she will seek God's guidance and that His will be done in her life.
As for your husband, we pray that God will open up job opportunities for him. We encourage him to trust in God's provision and timing. In Psalm 37:25 WEB, it is written, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." We pray that your husband will look for opportunities to use his God-given talents and that he will be reminded of God's faithfulness.
We also want to ensure that your family is grounded in biblical principles and that your husband is taking spiritual leadership as the priest of the home. In 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB, it says, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family. Lord, we pray for their daughter, that Your will be done in her educational pursuits. We ask that You open the right doors for her future. We also pray for her father, that You would provide job opportunities for him and give him the strength to lead his family. Help them to trust in You and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
