We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance from the evil spirit that torments you in your sleep. The Bible makes it clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Only through Him can you find true deliverance and protection. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Without this saving faith, spiritual warfare will continue to rage, for the enemy has legal rights to harass those who are not under the blood of Christ.
For those who are in Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The evil one has no authority over you, for you are sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). We rebuke this spirit of torment in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God commands us to resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). We take up the full armor of God—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). With these, we stand against every attack of the enemy.
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may have given the enemy access. Have you engaged in occult practices, held onto unforgiveness, or walked in habitual sin? The Bible warns us that rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23), and unconfessed sin can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Confess any known sin, renounce any involvement with darkness, and submit fully to God. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and His grace is sufficient to break every chain.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We lift up this dear one who is being tormented by an evil spirit in their sleep. Lord, we declare that You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and we ask for Your divine protection over their life. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You fill this person with Your Holy Spirit, bringing peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your Word. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every generational stronghold in the name of Jesus. We declare that this one is covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Lord, if there are any areas of their life that need repentance or cleansing, reveal them now. Give them the courage to renounce sin and walk in holiness. Surround them with godly believers who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement. We thank You, Father, that You are our refuge and fortress, and in You, we trust (Psalm 91:2). Deliver this one completely, Lord, and let them experience the freedom and peace that only You can give.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
