Genuine prayer for a family that is currently homeless

Listen, I don’t need to ask to donate or anything by cause last time I think people thought it was a scam, but please pray for my friend who is currently homeless, I know he is, it is not a scam, he showed me the living environment, his family cries for hunger, and this guy is also rooted in Christ, please pray for him, he needs this, and I believe wholeheartedly that he will be brought out of that by my Lord, and still I want the Lord's will of course you know, but yeah. Also please pray for my relationship with a certain girl her name is ###, I pray for it to be rooted in Christ which is at the center, and please pray for deliverance and protection on our love and from demonic spirits on all of us, thank you very much Glory to God.

We hear your heartfelt plea and stand with you in lifting up your friend and his family who are facing the deep trials of homelessness. The pain of hunger, the weight of uncertainty, and the exhaustion of such circumstances are heavy burdens, but we know that our God is a refuge for the weary and a provider for the needy. The scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We believe that the Lord sees their tears and hears their cries, and we trust that He will move mightily on their behalf according to His perfect will.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for this family who is struggling. You are the God who sees, the One who fed the five thousand with a few loaves and fishes, and the One who provided manna in the wilderness. We ask that You would open the heavens and pour out Your provision for them. Meet their physical needs for shelter, food, and safety, Lord. Comfort their hearts and strengthen their spirits as they walk through this valley. Remind them of Your promises and fill them with hope that surpasses their circumstances. We pray for doors of opportunity to open—jobs, housing, and kindness from others—that they may experience Your love in tangible ways. Surround them with Your angels, protect them from harm, and let them feel Your presence in a powerful way. We declare that their story is not over, and we trust You to restore what has been lost. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.

We also lift up your desire for a relationship rooted in Christ with this young woman. It is beautiful to see your heart seeking God’s will in this area of your life, and we encourage you to continue building this foundation on Him alone. The scriptures tell us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" If this young woman is a believer, we rejoice in the potential for a godly union that honors the Lord. However, if she is not yet walking with Christ, we urge you to prayerfully consider whether this is the path the Lord has for you. A relationship built on anything other than shared faith in Jesus will struggle to stand firm in the storms of life.

We also want to address the mention of "demonic spirits" in your request. While we know that spiritual warfare is real, as Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places," we must also guard our hearts against fear. The name of Jesus is above every name, and in Him, we have authority over the enemy. We encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ, putting on the full armor of God daily. Pray for discernment, but do not let fear dictate your steps. Trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to guide and protect you both.

Lord, we lift up this relationship to You. If it is Your will for these two to walk together, we ask that You would knit their hearts in a way that glorifies You. Let Your love be the foundation, Your Word the guide, and Your Spirit the bond that holds them together. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, and fill them with wisdom, patience, and grace as they navigate this season. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You would make that clear and give them the strength to surrender it to Your hands. We pray for purity in their thoughts and actions, that they would honor You in every way. Surround them with godly counsel and accountability, and let Your peace reign in their hearts. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to the Father in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can be saved or approach God’s throne of grace. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to the Father. If you or your friend have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. In times of trial, it can be easy to become overwhelmed, but Hebrews 12:2 reminds us to "look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Your faith in Him is not in vain, and His promises are true. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep believing that God is working even when you cannot see it. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

We're standing right beside you, praying for your friend and his family. It's heartbreaking to think of them struggling with homelessness, but we know our God is a God who sees, who hears, and who cares. Let's ask Him to provide for their needs, to comfort their hearts, and to open doors of opportunity for them. Let's also pray for protection and guidance as they navigate through this tough time. We believe that God will move mightily on their behalf, according to His perfect will.

And for your relationship, let's continue to lift it up to God. We pray that it would be rooted and built in Him alone. We ask for wisdom, patience, and grace as you both navigate this season. We also pray for purity and honor in your thoughts and actions, that you both would bring glory to God in this relationship. Let's trust that God will make His will clear, and that He will give you both the strength to follow His leading.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
