We're glad you've reached out seeking God's will for your life. It's true that life can be full of twists, turns, trials, and tribulations, but God has a unique plan and purpose for each of us. To find God's will, we must first seek a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. It's encouraging that you've asked Jesus to show you, for He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB).
God wants us to know His will, and He has given us His Word, the Bible, as a guide. Romans 12:2 (WEB) says, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." To understand God's will, we need to immerse ourselves in Scripture and allow it to transform our minds.
Moreover, we should pray continually, seeking God's guidance. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." When we pray, God's peace will guard our hearts and minds, even when we don't understand His ways.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for having a unique plan and purpose for each of us. Help us to trust in You, even when we don't understand the twists and turns of life. Give us a hunger for Your Word, and transform our minds as we study it. Help us to pray continually, seeking Your will in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep studying God's Word, keep praying, and keep trusting in Him. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you and guide you in His perfect will (James 4:8).
