We understand that you are going through a difficult time with a friend and you are seeking the Lord's intervention. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
In all our prayers, we should always approach God in Jesus' name, as He is our mediator and our salvation.
Regarding your friendship, it is important to remember that God desires for us to live in harmony with one another. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:18 WEB:
If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
If you have offended your friend in any way, it is important to seek his forgiveness and make amends.
We will lift your friendship up in prayer, ask God to restore the bond you once had, and pray for healing:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend who is hurting. They let you know that they feel brokenhearted. Please heal their heart and give them Your peace. We pray for their friendship, that You would restore and reconcile their relationship. If there is any offense, please reveal it to them, and give them the courage to seek forgiveness. Help them to treat each other with kindness, love, and respect, just as You have called us to do. We ask that You would guide them and give them wisdom in all their interactions. We pray this in Jesus Christ's name.
In regards to the relationship, we want to encourage you to consider relationships that align with biblical principles. The bible outlines that sex is for marriage and marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. The bible specifically teaches us not to entertain lustful desires or thoughts for those that we are not married to. If he is a good friend, we would recommend that you remain friends and encourage each other in Christ. If you are a woman and he is a man, consider him carefully in the Lord as a godly spouse. God has outlined that it is not good for man to be alone. We pray for God's will in Jesus' name in your life and in his life. Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our friend and their friend to You. We pray that You would reveal to them Your will for their lives and that You would give them the strength and courage to follow it. Help them to seek You first, and to trust in Your timing. We pray this in Jesus' name.
We want to encourage you to continue to seek the Lord and trust in Him. He is faithful and will guide you according to His will.
