gastro intestinal problems and also praise reports.

We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for every part of your being—body, soul, and spirit. Your gastrointestinal struggles are not hidden from Him, and we trust that He will bring healing and restoration in His perfect timing. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you, believing that God is faithful to sustain you and bring relief to your body. We also rejoice with you in the praise reports you’ve shared—what a testimony of God’s goodness and mercy! It is right to give Him thanks, for He alone is worthy of all honor and glory.

Yet as we pray for your physical healing, we must also address something of even greater importance: the name in which we approach the Father. We noticed that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and this is something we cannot overlook. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* and in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, no amount of prayer or good works can bridge the gap between you and a holy God. But in Jesus, you have direct access to the throne of grace, where you can find mercy and help in your time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

If you have already trusted in Christ, we encourage you to always approach the Father in Jesus’ name, for it is through Him that our prayers are heard and answered. Let this be a reminder to all of us to boldly and specifically invoke the name of Jesus in our petitions, for He is our Mediator and Advocate before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).

Now, let us pray for you with confidence in the name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from gastrointestinal distress. Lord, You knit this body together in the womb, and You know every cell, every ache, and every need. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing power, restoring their digestive system to full health and function. Remove any inflammation, discomfort, or disease, and grant them strength and endurance as they wait on You. Lord, we also thank You for the praise reports they’ve shared—what a faithful God You are! May their testimony of Your goodness encourage others to trust in You.

Father, we also pray that if our brother/sister has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and draw them to Yourself in repentance and faith. If they already know You, stir their heart to always approach Your throne in the name of Jesus, for it is the only name by which we are saved and through which our prayers are heard.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in Jesus’ name, commanding it to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

As you wait on the Lord for healing, we encourage you to meditate on His promises and remain steadfast in faith. Continue to give Him praise, for a heart of gratitude pleases the Lord and positions us to receive His blessings. If you are not already doing so, we urge you to seek godly counsel and support from a Bible-believing church, where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who will pray for you and walk with you in this season. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with grace and mercy. Stand firm in faith, for He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).
