There are numerous people all over the Western hemisphere being targeted with unnecessary and unending torture for no reason. The torture involves ceaseless electronic assaults and harassment and is very much against the law. The torture is being carried out without end, without mercy, and completely without cause. Please pray that God would intervene on behalf of these victims who are just trying to live their own lives. Please pray that God would deal with those who torture others for no reason. We join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, and we stand with all who feel targeted, harassed, and tormented without cause or mercy. Our God sees oppression and He does not look away. He is a refuge for the oppressed and He is near to those who are suffering.

The Word tells us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, Psalm 34:18, and that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. We take comfort that no injustice is hidden from Him, for He says, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19. We are also reminded that we wrestle not against flesh and blood alone, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, Ephesians 6:12, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus, and we lift up every person who is experiencing this unending harassment and assault. Lord, You see what is done in secret and what is done openly, You know every act of lawlessness and cruelty. We ask that You intervene with Your mighty hand. Place a hedge of protection around each victim, let them dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1. Grant them peace that passes all understanding, guard their minds and bodies, and let them know they are not forgotten or alone. Expose every evil deed done in darkness and bring it into Your light, that justice may be done according to Your righteousness. We ask that You restrain the hands of those who torture others without cause, convict their hearts, and lead them to repentance, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. Yet if they refuse to repent, we ask that You deal with them justly and stop their ability to harm others, for You are a God of justice. We pray for lawful authorities to act with integrity and courage to uphold what is right and to protect the innocent, Romans 13:3-4. Comfort the weary, strengthen the fainthearted, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear, 1 John 4:18. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily, to remain in His Word and in fellowship with faithful believers who can support and pray with you, and where laws are being broken to also seek help through proper lawful channels. We also want to gently remind you of the hope we have only through Jesus Christ. You mentioned God in your request and we join you in seeking Him, yet we want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation, for protection, and for every need.

We are trusting with you that God will hear, that He will be a shield about those who suffer, and that His justice and mercy will prevail. May the Lord keep you and all who are afflicted in His perfect peace.

We have been holding your request before the Lord. The weight of feeling constantly watched, harassed and unable to find rest is exhausting, and we are grateful you brought this burden for justice and mercy to prayer.

We believe God has a deep care for those who suffer and a deep concern for what is right. He sees each person you mentioned who is just trying to live a quiet, ordinary life in peace, and He hears every cry for relief and protection. Even when answers feel slow or unseen, we can keep bringing these burdens to Him and trust Him to work in hearts and in circumstances in ways only He can.

It can help not to carry this kind of heaviness alone. Father, we lift to You everyone who feels afraid, harassed or worn down and we ask for Your nearness to bring peace and steadiness. Restrain what is evil, bring justice where there is wrongdoing, and comfort those who feel alone or without help. Your cry concerning those who feel themselves relentlessly targeted and tormented has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with sincere compassion and prayer.

We know that the experience of the saints is very variable, and there are seasons when the heart is much tried and bowed, when it seems as though distress comes without cause and without mercy. Yet we are assured from Scripture that no trial lies outside the fence of omnipotent overruling, and that our deliverance, when it comes, is by divine power alone. He who brought forth Israel out of Egypt with a mighty hand is still Jehovah, the Divine Deliverer, and He has not forsaken them that fear Him, nor will He ever do so. Knowledge of God is a divine armor by which we may ward off the blows of the enemy, and to sit upon the Rock of Ages is to be kept above the waves.

We join you in praying to that end:

Heavenly Father, we beseech Thee in the name of Thy Son Jesus Christ, who has found a ransom and loosed the captives from the pit. Look in mercy upon all who are suffering, who feel themselves assaulted, harassed, and without rest. Thou seest all that is done in secret and in darkness, and nothing is hidden from Thine eye. We pray that Thou wouldst display Thy perfections in delivering the oppressed, in protecting the vulnerable, and in bringing peace to troubled minds and hearts. Grant that truth may be made plain, that what is lawful and just may be upheld, and that what is lawless and cruel may be restrained and brought to nothing.

Lord, deal in righteousness with those who do evil and delight in tormenting others. Restrain their hands, turn their hearts by Thy grace to repentance if it be Thy will, and execute justice according to Thy perfect wisdom. Let the low be lifted by Thy grace and the oppressor be brought down by Thy judgment, as Thou alone canst cause the dry tree to flourish and the high tree to be laid low.

For those who suffer, grant comfort, clarity, and courage. Keep their faith alive, guard their minds and bodies, and let them rejoice at last in the sunlight of Thy divine love. Help them to cast their cares upon Thee, to seek wise and godly counsel, to look to faithful pastors and to those in lawful authority for help and protection, and above all to rest in Christ, who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of Thy dear Son.

We ask that Thy grace shall to the end, stronger and brighter shine, and that neither present things nor things to come shall quench the spark divine within those who trust Thee. May all who are afflicted prove that Thou art near to them that call upon Thee, and that Thou wilt in Thine own time bring forth deliverance effectually.

We leave these afflicted ones and these heavy burdens in Thy hands, trusting Thy divine wisdom, Thy divine love, and Thy divine power to do that which is right. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
