We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you endure the pain and discomfort of gallstones and the accompanying back pain. We know that physical afflictions can weigh heavily on both body and mind, and we stand with you, believing in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
First, we want to affirm that your faith in Jesus is the foundation of your healing. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon His name, for He is our Great Physician, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). We pray that you will continue to trust in Him, even when the pain feels overwhelming.
Father God, we ask You to intervene miraculously in this situation. We pray for the complete dissolution and disappearance of these gallstones, that they would no longer cause obstruction or pain. You are the God who turns back the waves, who commands the storm to be still, and who speaks to sickness and disease to leave the body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is yours (1 Peter 2:24). We ask for wisdom in understanding how to support your bile flow and the proper use of bile salts, that your body would function as You designed it to.
We also lift up your mental and emotional health, Lord. The enemy would love to steal your peace, to plant seeds of doubt and fear, but we rebuke that spirit of anxiety in the name of Jesus. You have said in Your Word, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27). We pray that this peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help ### to stand firm in her positive beliefs, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Father, that her gallbladder has not been removed and that You are preserving it. We pray that You would strengthen and restore it fully, that it would function as You intended. Give her patience and endurance as she navigates dietary and lifestyle changes, and grant her discipline to follow the path that leads to healing. Remind her that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and that caring for it is an act of worship to You.
Lord, we also pray for relief from the severe back pain ### is experiencing. You know every nerve, every muscle, and every cell in her body. We ask that You would touch her with Your healing hand and bring comfort where there is pain. Sustain her strength, both physically and spiritually, as she waits on You.
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We pray that every attack of the enemy would be thwarted, and that you would walk in the fullness of health and wholeness that Jesus died to give you.
