We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of hope and faith as we lift up this request for clarity, healing, discipline, and alignment with God’s perfect will. Father, we thank You for the earnest desire in this heart to walk closely with You in the coming year. You have promised in Your Word that those who seek You will find You, and we claim that promise today. *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you"* (Matthew 7:7). Lord, we ask that You would remove every veil of confusion and grant unshakable clarity to this journey. Let Your Holy Spirit be the lamp to these feet and the light to this path, illuminating every step with Your truth and wisdom.
We also stand in agreement for deep healing—spiritual, emotional, and even physical—where wounds may still linger. You are the God who heals, Jehovah Rapha, and we declare that no pain, no past hurt, and no generational stronghold will have dominion over this life. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). We rebuke every spirit of delay, every cycle of frustration, and every distraction that seeks to pull attention away from Your purpose. In the name of Jesus, we break those chains and declare that this year will not be marked by stagnation but by divine acceleration. *"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul"* (Psalm 23:1-3).
We pray for discipline to rise up like a mighty warrior within this heart. Discipline is not a burden but a gift from You, Lord, that keeps us steadfast in Your ways. *"For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it"* (Hebrews 12:11). May this year be one of spiritual growth, where prayer, fasting, and the study of Your Word become as natural as breathing. Let every closed door that You have sealed remain shut, and let every door You open be walked through with boldness and confidence. *"What he opens, no one can shut; and what he shuts, no one opens"* (Revelation 3:7).
Father, we also lift up the need for full surrender to Your will. Too often, our flesh wars against Your Spirit, and our plans clash with Yours. But we declare today that this life is not our own—it was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We ask that You would align every desire, every dream, and every decision with Your perfect will. Let this be a year where obedience is chosen over comfort, and where faith is exercised even when the path is unclear.
Lord, if there are areas of this life that are not yet fully submitted to You—whether in relationships, habits, or hidden sins—we ask that You would bring them to light. *"For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light"* (Luke 8:17). We rebuke any form of compromise, any ungodly relationship, or any sin that may be hindering this walk with You. If there is fornication, lust, or emotional entanglement outside of Your design for marriage between one man and one woman, we pray for conviction, repentance, and restoration. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that if this life is called to it, You would bring a godly spouse—a fellow believer who loves You more than they love this world.
Above all, we pray that Jesus Christ would be the center of this journey. There is no access to the Father except through Him, and there is no salvation in any other name. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’"* (John 14:6). If this heart has not yet fully surrendered to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray for the gift of repentance and faith. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Let this be the year where faith in Christ is not just professed but lived out in every area of life.
We declare that this will be a year of breakthrough, a year of divine alignment, and a year where God’s will is not just sought but fully embraced. May every promise in Your Word become a reality in this life, and may this testimony bring glory to Your name. We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
