We hear your heartfelt cry and stand with you in faith, lifting your request before the throne of grace. It is beautiful to see your recognition of God’s sovereignty and your desire to seek Him first above all else. You are right—He does consider our prayers, and His timing is perfect, even when it feels difficult to wait. We rejoice that you are drawing nearer to Him, for that is where true security, confidence, and identity are found.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mention Jesus Christ, and we are grateful for this, for there is no other name by which we may approach the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your faith in Christ is the cornerstone of your hope, and we encourage you to continue building upon it, trusting in His finished work on the cross.
You speak of lost security, confidence, and identity, and we want to remind you that these are not found in circumstances, funding, or earthly provisions, but in Christ alone. Colossians 2:10 tells us, *"You are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and power."* When we root our identity in Him, we are no longer shaken by the storms of life. We pray that you would experience the fullness of this truth, that your heart would be anchored in Him, and that you would find your worth and purpose in being His beloved child.
Regarding your request for funding, we join you in praying for God’s provision according to His will. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We do not know the details of your situation, but we trust that the Lord sees your need and will provide in the way that is best for your growth and His glory. If this funding is not restored, we pray that you would still trust in His goodness and provision, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
However, we must also gently remind you that our prayers should always align with God’s will. While it is right to ask boldly, we must also surrender our desires to His perfect plan. 1 John 5:14-15 says, *"This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."* We encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above your own desires, trusting that He knows what is best for you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and trusting hearts, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who seeks You above all else. Lord, we thank You for drawing them closer to You and for the faith they have placed in Jesus Christ. We ask that You would continue to strengthen their identity in You, reminding them that they are complete in Christ and deeply loved by You.
Father, we bring before You their request for funding. We ask that if it is Your will, You would restore what has been lost, providing for their needs in miraculous ways. But Lord, if this is not Your plan, we pray that You would give them peace and contentment in Your provision, trusting that You will never leave nor forsake them. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this season. May they not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding their steps and giving them the strength to endure with joy.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we pray that they would walk in the freedom and peace that comes from trusting in You. May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, feeling Your love and care in every moment.
Father, we also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where they may need to surrender more fully to You. Help them to lay down their own desires and plans, trusting that Your ways are higher than their ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). May they find their ultimate satisfaction in You alone.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the work You are doing in their life. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are moving on their behalf. May they continue to grow in faith, hope, and love, reflecting Your light to the world around them.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
