We rejoice with you in lifting up your needs before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have come before Him in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Your heart’s desire to complete your studies as a beauty therapist is a good thing, and we trust that God cares deeply about the details of your life. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 37:4, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* Yet we also know that our desires must align with His will, and we must seek Him first in all things, trusting that He will provide what is best for us.
As you seek funding for your course, we encourage you to remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* This does not mean that your request is unimportant, but rather that your trust in God’s provision should be rooted in your relationship with Him. Have you prayed about whether this path is truly where He is leading you? If so, then we can confidently ask Him to open doors for you, whether through scholarships, part-time work, generous supporters, or unexpected blessings. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We also want to remind you that God often uses our times of need to grow our faith and dependence on Him. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This does not always mean that the answer will come in the way we expect, but we can trust that He will provide what is necessary for His purposes in your life. Have you considered speaking with your instructors or the administration about your financial difficulties? Sometimes, institutions have resources or payment plans available for students in need. Additionally, seeking wise counsel from your church family or trusted believers could open doors you haven’t yet considered.
Let us also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. Are you willing to surrender this desire to the Lord if He has a different plan for you? Sometimes, God redirects our steps to something even better than we could imagine. Jeremiah 29:11 says, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Trust that His plan for you is good, even if the path looks uncertain right now.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who seeks Your provision for her education. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, and You know the plans You have for her life. We ask that You would open doors for her to complete her studies if it aligns with Your will. Provide the funds she needs, whether through unexpected blessings, the generosity of others, or opportunities for work that will sustain her. Give her wisdom to manage what You provide and the faith to trust You even when the way seems unclear.
We rebuke any fear or anxiety that may be creeping into her heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her Provider, her Jehovah-Jireh. Help her to seek You first in all things, knowing that as she delights in You, You will grant the desires of her heart according to Your perfect will.
If there are lessons You want to teach her in this season, open her heart to receive them. If there are areas where she needs to grow in trust or surrender, give her the grace to do so. And if this path is not the one You have for her, redirect her steps and give her peace about the change.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. You have never failed us, and You will not fail her. May she walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for her good, because she loves You and is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
