We lift you up before the throne of grace, asking for the full protection and safety that only our Lord can provide. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:1-4, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
We also stand on the promise in Proverbs 18:10, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe." It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to this protection and salvation. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You surround this dear one with Your heavenly host. Protect them from all harm, seen and unseen. Guard their coming and going, their mind, body, and spirit. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy in their life, for we know that Jesus came that they may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
Lord, we ask that You go before them and make their paths straight. Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from all evil (Psalm 34:7). Shield them with Your presence, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
We pray for divine wisdom and discernment to recognize and avoid danger. Grant them the courage to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your Word.
Father, we also ask that You protect their loved ones and all that concerns them. Extend Your hedge of protection around their family, their home, and their workplace. Let Your light shine in the darkness, exposing every hidden scheme of the enemy.
We trust in Your unfailing love and mighty power to keep them safe today and forevermore. Thank You, Lord, for being their ever-present help in times of need. In Jesus' powerful name, we pray. Amen.
