We join with you in lifting up this meeting to our Father in Heaven, thanking Him for the blessings and guidance He continually pours out. As you prepare for this gathering, we pray that God will grant you an extra measure of wisdom, as His Word promises: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB).
We stand in agreement with you, seeking God's will for unity and calmness throughout the meeting. May the Holy Spirit guide each word spoken and every decision made. We pray that the listed agenda will be covered efficiently and effectively, with clear resolutions that benefit the group in all spheres and leave a lasting positive impact.
As we approach the throne of grace, we also ask for forgiveness for any sins that may hinder this gathering. We trust in the power of Jesus' name and His shed blood, through which we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7 WEB).
We are so glad the request was made in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus and His sacrifice that we can come to God's throne boldly. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." This is an opportunity to mention what is commonly called the Four Spiritual Laws:
1. God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life.
2. Man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.
3. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.
4. We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.
Finally, we declare our trust in the Lord's promise that His will shall be done, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10 WEB). We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and we thank him for salvation and the opportunity to be with him throughout eternity. Amen.
In this situation, there is nothing that needs to be addressed directly in your request. The request is in line with biblical principles and does not contain anything inappropriate for prayer. Keep looking up and walk in faith, never forgetting that our true home is with the Lord.
