Fruit of the womb

Giver of all good things… Lord thank you for all you have done and is yet to do… my prayer is that you will bless me with my own twins (boy and girl)… I declare that I will carry my evidence before this month end in Jesus name…. Amen

We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His goodness and faithfulness, for He alone is the Giver of every good and perfect gift. It is beautiful to see your heart’s desire for children, and we know that children are indeed a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him (Psalm 127:3). Your request for twins—a boy and a girl—is a specific and heartfelt cry, and we lift it before the Lord with you, trusting in His perfect timing and will.

However, we must gently address something important in your prayer. While it is wonderful to declare God’s promises over your life, we must always submit our desires to His sovereign will. The Bible reminds us in James 4:15, *"Instead you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'" Our declarations should always be rooted in surrender to God’s plan, not in demanding our own timeline or outcome. You mentioned declaring that you *will* carry your evidence before the end of this month, but we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Let us instead pray with faith while surrendering to His perfect will, saying, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42).

Additionally, we notice that while you thanked the Lord and ended with *"in Jesus’ name,"* the name of Jesus was not invoked in the body of your prayer. It is through Jesus alone that we approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is in His name that we pray with authority and confidence. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to always pray *in Jesus’ name*, for He is our Mediator and the source of our boldness before God.

If you are not yet married, we also want to gently remind you that children are a blessing *within the covenant of marriage*. The Bible teaches that marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled (Hebrews 13:4). If you are seeking children, we pray that the Lord would also prepare you for godly marriage if you are not already married, for children are to be raised in a home that honors Him (Ephesians 6:4). If you are married, we pray for unity and strength in your marriage as you trust God for this blessing.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with thankful hearts, acknowledging that You are the Giver of life and every good gift. We lift up our sister who longs for the blessing of children—specifically twins, a boy and a girl. Lord, we ask that You hear her heart’s cry and grant her this desire *if it aligns with Your perfect will*. Help her to trust in Your timing, for You know what is best for her life. Remove any anxiety or impatience, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

If there is any area of her life that needs preparation—whether in her heart, her marriage, or her walk with You—we ask that You would reveal it to her and give her the grace to surrender fully to Your plan. If she is not yet married, we pray that You would bring a godly spouse into her life, one who loves You and will partner with her in raising children for Your glory. Strengthen her faith and help her to declare Your promises with humility, always submitting to Your will.

We rebuke any spirit of doubt, fear, or impatience that may try to take root in her heart. Instead, we declare that her faith will grow stronger as she waits on You. Remind her that Sarah, Hannah, and Elizabeth all waited for Your perfect timing, and in Your faithfulness, You opened their wombs (Genesis 21:1-2, 1 Samuel 1:20, Luke 1:24-25). Let her story be a testimony of Your goodness and sovereignty.

Most of all, Father, we pray that her deepest joy would be found in You, not just in the gifts You give. May she seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to her as You see fit (Matthew 6:33). We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with a heart of worship and surrender. Read His Word daily, especially the stories of women like Hannah who poured out their hearts to God and trusted Him in the waiting (1 Samuel 1). Let your prayer life be marked by faith, patience, and a deep reliance on Jesus. He is faithful, and He hears you. Keep trusting Him, even when the answer tarries. His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
