Beloved of All
From our Torah portion this week (i.e., Devarim) we read: “But you were not willing to ascend (×•Ö°×œ× ×Ö²×‘Ö´×™×ªÖ¶× ×œÖ·×¢Ö²×œ×ª), but became bitter (מָרָה) against the Word of the LORD your God†(Deut. 1:26). Moses’ rebuke was not that the people were afraid to conquer the land as much as that they had lost heart and no longer desired to take hold of God’s promise. The people gave up their dream; they forsook their hope; and they had lost the “devotion of their youth, their love as a bride, how they followed the LORD in the desert, into a land not sown†(Jer. 2:2). The people’s failure was on two levels: First they lapsed in faith by abdicating trust in God’s word, and second, they had lost the passion of their first love. In light of this, the sages say that the greater problem was that of losing heart, since the heart directs the will to believe in the miracle of God...

Father God, we turn our hearts toward you, willing vessels, believing, Father, believing, Amen

I stand in agreement with this request. Dear Father, may You also send more of Your Holy Spirit to all of us so that we may know and do Your will. I ask that we will be worthy of the high calling that You have given us. Oh Lord, sanctify us and change us to be more like You. Bless Your Holy name! Hallelujah!

In Jesus name, amen.

Always remember and never forget: God is so in love with you. ♡♡♡ Be Encouraged. Know that somebody, somewhere is praying for you. ♡♡♡ Always be God Conscious with your words, actions, and motives. ♡♡♡ Let’s Pray: God in Jesus’ name out of respect for You, help me to always be God Conscious. Let me feel Your presence with me at all times. Help me to always picture Jesus with me listening to every word I speak, watching every move I make, and knowing my every thought. Let my motives, intentions, words, and actions always be God motivated, God glorified. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer. Amen! ♡♡♡ https://www.prayerrequest.com/blog/183/entry-16595-always-be-god-conscious/

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

In our Torah portion for this week (i.e., parashat Vayishlach), we read how Jacob wrestled with a mysterious “Man†until the break of dawn, and refused to let go until he had secured God’s blessing (Gen. 32:24-26). This climactic moment marked a “rebirth†experience for Jacob as...

From our Torah portion this week (Ki Tavo) we read: “Cursed is anyone who does not uphold the words of this Torah to do them†(Deut. 27:26). The sages here note that the word “uphold†(יָקִי×) means accepting the truth and validity of Torah (hashkafah), not necessarily perfectly...
