I posted a request on Sept. 29 for a good friend of mine who nearly died. We have now found out that her appendix ruptured and was spilling into her stomach. Her organs had already begun to shut down, and had she not woken up screaming in pain, she would have been dead by morning. They successfully removed her appendix, but now she is developing pneumonia as a side effect of the procedure. She may need another surgery early this next week as well. Please pray fervently that God heals her.
This is a very hard situation for her and her family. Her dad is a pastor who has now begun to have heart problems brought on by this whole thing. Even his mind is beginning to be effected. He had to leave church recently because he was totally incoherent. Because of everything going on with his daughter, his family is going to have to pay for his medical needs out-of-pocket. The church has stepped up to foot the bill, but we only have about 7 families and 50 people total in our church. The elders of the church have even discussed turning off the heat to the church and bringing blankets to save money to help pay for these medical issues. Please pray that God heals our Pastor and his daughter and provides for their financial needs as well.
