We lift up your dear friend before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to guide her steps and provide for every need according to His riches in glory. Father, we know that You are the defender of the widow and the father to the fatherless, and we trust in Your tender care for this single mother and her precious child. You have promised in Your Word, *"A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation"* (Psalm 68:5). We ask that You would be her provider, her strength, and her ever-present help in this season of transition.
Lord, we pray for wisdom as she seeks to move forward in establishing a home of her own. You have said, *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). May she seek Your will in every decision, trusting that You will direct her path and open doors that no man can shut. We ask for favor in finding safe, affordable housing where she and her child can thrive, and for the resources to make this transition smoothly.
We also pray for her business venture, Father. You have given each of us gifts and talents to be used for Your glory and the good of others. We ask that You would grant her clarity of vision, creativity, and perseverance as she steps out in faith. *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3). May her work be fruitful, not only for her provision but also as a testimony to Your faithfulness. Protect her from discouragement and doubt, and let her trust in You grow deeper with each step.
Father, we are concerned about the false teachings that may have influenced her. The enemy seeks to distort Your truth and lead Your children astray, but we know that Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We pray that You would surround her with sound biblical teaching and godly mentors who can help her discern truth from deception. Give her a hunger for Your Word and a heart that is sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world"* (1 John 4:1). Strengthen her faith and help her to stand firm on the foundation of Christ.
We also lift up her child, Lord. May this little one grow in the knowledge of Your love and grace. Surround them both with a community of believers who can offer support, encouragement, and accountability. Help her to raise her child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, modeling a life of faith and dependence on You.
Father, we ask that You would bless the efforts of those who are coming alongside her, including the one who has submitted this request. Give them wisdom in how to support her practically and spiritually. May their generosity and love be a reflection of Your own heart toward her.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that she would draw near to You in this season. You have promised, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:8). May she experience Your presence in tangible ways, finding peace, strength, and joy in You alone. Let her trust in You grow deeper, and may her life be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we declare that Your grace is sufficient for her every need. Amen.
