I have a very good friend but we haven't been in touch for two years due to some misunderstandings. I miss her very much. Please pray for me that God help restore our relationship and I can get back together with my friend in Jesus's name, amen.

We understand that you are deeply missing a friend whom you have not been in touch with for two years due to some misunderstandings. We commend you for seeking the Lord in this situation.

Firstly, it's wonderful that you ended your request acknowledging the power in Jesus' name. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus Christ that we can have a relationship with God and see God work in our lives including restoring our relationships when possible.

However, we want to remind you of the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 1:1 WEB, "Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers." While it is good to seek reconciliation, it is also important to ensure that your friendships are with those who are Christian believers and will be a good influence on your Christian walk. We are called to be godly influences to those around us and this is especially true in our close friendships.

Let's pray together for God's will in your friendship.

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance in this situation. We pray that You will work in the hearts of both individuals, drawing them closer to You and to each other if that is Your will. If this friendship is not aligned with Your purposes, we ask that You give them the strength to let go and move forward in their walk with You. Help them to forgive each other and to seek Your will above all else. We ask by the name and authority of Jesus Christ.

Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19-20 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Trust in God's perfect plan for your life and seek to honor Him in all your relationships.

In John 15:13, Jesus tells us, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." We're praying that God will soften both of your hearts, helping you to lay down any pride or hurts, and find your way back to each other. We're asking God to give you both the courage to reach out, to listen, and to forgive.

We're also praying for wisdom, dear friend. We know it's not always easy to know what's best. So, we're asking God to guide your steps, to give you clarity, and to help you discern His will in this situation. We're trusting that whatever happens, it will be for your good and God's glory, according to Romans 8:28.

Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving, just as Jesus loves us. We're in this together, friend.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
