Friend is very ill
We lift our hearts together in prayer for your dear friend who is facing illness. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing in the mighty healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Father God, in the precious name of Jesus, we come before Your throne of grace, seeking Your divine intervention for our brother or sister in Christ who is unwell. We ask You to lay Your healing hands upon them, restoring their body, mind, and spirit. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for strength, wisdom, and wellness for those who have been standing in the good fight alongside this dear friend. May You grant them endurance and refreshment, that they may continue to serve You with vigor and joy. Father, we ask that You grant them rest, both physically and spiritually, so they may be renewed and ready to face each day with hope and courage.
Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that it is only through Your name that we have access to the Father and the power to pray effectively. We thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross, which has given us the privilege to come boldly before God's throne. We pray all these things in Your mighty and matchless name, Jesus Christ our Lord.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or discouragement that may be afflicting our friend or those supporting them. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand firm in this truth. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Continue to trust in the Lord, dear ones, for He is faithful and just. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). We encourage you to surround your friend with love, support, and godly counsel, reminding them of God's promises and the hope we have in Christ. May the Lord bless you and keep you, making His face shine upon you and giving you peace.

dementia is a serious matter they're dealing with. Thanks so much and the Lord mightily bless you and all who diligently pray here Lord. Amen 
We are deeply grateful that you shared this heavy burden with us, trusting us to stand beside you in prayer for your dear friend who stepped forward in your defense. It has been on our hearts to lift up both their healing and your strength these past days. We have asked our Heavenly Father to lay His mighty healing hand upon your friend, restoring health, granting deep and restorative rest, and renewing their body so they may rise again to stand in the good fight.
We have also prayed that you and your household would be filled with wisdom and courage, that you would feel the Lord’s presence guiding every decision and comforting every fear.
