We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens in faith. First, we thank You, Jesus, for being our Provider and Sustainer in every area of life—even in the practical matters like a malfunctioning fridge. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention to restore this appliance, that the food within may be preserved and the molding repaired. You are the God who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17), and we trust in Your power to mend what is broken. Grant wisdom to those who may need to repair it, and provide the resources to do so without undue hardship.
We also lift up the grieving family mourning the loss of their beloved. Father, we ask for Your comfort to surround them like a warm embrace, for You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). May they feel Your presence in this time of sorrow, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that Your precious blood covers them, bringing healing and hope.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and overwhelm that may be pressing in. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen this family to walk through these challenges with faith, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray for total healing—spiritually, emotionally, and practically—according to Your will. May Your name be glorified in every situation, and may those who do not yet know You come to see Your goodness and mercy through these trials. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.
