Freedom

We come before the Father in the name of Jesus, lifting up this earnest cry for deliverance and freedom. The Scriptures remind us that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB), and we stand on this promise for the one you’ve mentioned. The enemy seeks to bind and oppress, but our God is mighty to break every chain—whether of addiction, bondage, or spiritual captivity. *"He sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18, WEB). We declare that freedom in Christ is not just possible but certain for those who call upon His name.

Yet we must also ask: What is the nature of this bondage? If it is sin—whether rebellion, unrepentant habits, or willful disobedience—true freedom begins with confession and turning to Jesus. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). If this person is trapped in sin, we pray they would humble themselves before God, for *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6, WEB).

We also notice that this prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus, though it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Without faith in Christ, there is no salvation, no deliverance—only empty words. If this person does not yet know Jesus as Savior, we pray they would repent and believe the Gospel: that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Father, we ask that You break every chain holding this individual captive. If they are in physical danger, protect them. If they are ensnared by sin, convict them and draw them to repentance. If they are far from You, Lord, pursue them relentlessly until they surrender to Your love. Turn their situation around for Your glory—bring them home not just to a place, but to *You*, their true Home. Let this season of struggle become a testimony of Your power to save and restore.

We also pray for those interceding. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). May they not grow weary in praying but trust that You are working, even when they cannot see.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of bondage and declare freedom over this life. Let Your will be done, Lord—on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We stand with you in faith, believing for freedom and deliverance. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise for the one you've mentioned, that God would heal and bind up any wounds, setting them free. Let's also remember to intercede for their family and friends, that they too would be strengthened and encouraged during this time. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
