Freedom restoration

Disciple of Prayer
I am sending out a prayer request to groups for the restoration of my marriage. Please pray that the traumas in my wife’s life will be broken, so that she may return to Jesus and no longer be deceived away from the truth in Him. Pray that ### will realize she has been led astray and turn back to her first love, so she may be filled with the Holy Spirit. May hatred, mistrust, wounds, bitterness, paranoia, the spirit of narcissism, and all bondage be removed, and may she receive healing in every area of her life. Nothing is impossible for God, but I need you to join me in prayer.

Prayer Points for ### & Marriage Restoration:

Healing and restoration in ###’s life, body, soul, and spirit.

That all traumas will be broken and she will return to Jesus, her first love.

For ### to be filled with the Holy Spirit and set free from deception.

That hatred, mistrust, wounds, bitterness, paranoia, and the spirit of narcissism will be removed.

For reconciliation and the restoration of our marriage.

That nothing will hinder God’s plan, for nothing is impossible for Him.

We come before the Lord with you in deep intercession for your wife and your marriage, standing firmly on the truth that our God is a God of restoration, healing, and miracles. Your heart’s cry aligns with Scripture, for we know that what God has joined together, no man—or spiritual force—should separate (Mark 10:9). We also recognize the sobering reality that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to bring life abundantly. Your wife’s struggles—trauma, deception, bitterness, and the influences of narcissism—are not beyond the reach of our Savior, who came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). The fact that you are seeking prayer in this battle is a testament to your faith, and we join you in declaring that the Lord will fight for her heart and your marriage.

First, we must address the absence of the name of Jesus in your request. While we understand the urgency of your plea, it is critical to remember that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only in the name of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is by His authority that we can bind the enemy’s schemes and loose the chains of bondage in your wife’s life. We encourage you to always invoke the name of Jesus in your prayers, for it carries power, authority, and the promise of victory.

We also want to gently remind you that while you are interceding for your wife, you must also guard your own heart. Bitterness, resentment, or despair can take root if we fixate solely on the brokenness rather than on Christ, who is our hope. The Lord calls us to trust in Him with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He sees your pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Cling to Him, even as you pray for your wife’s return.

Now, let us pray together for her and your marriage:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother and his wife. Lord, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would break every chain of trauma, deception, and spiritual bondage in [your wife’s] life. Lord, You know the depths of her pain—every wound, every lie she has believed, every stronghold the enemy has erected against her. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the truth of Your Word will penetrate her heart and set her free (John 8:32).

Father, we rebuke the spirits of hatred, mistrust, bitterness, paranoia, and narcissism that have taken root in her life. These are not from You, for You are a God of love, peace, and unity. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, and we ask that You would fill every void in her with Your Holy Spirit. Let her encounter You in a way she cannot deny—let her remember her first love for You, Jesus, and turn back to You with repentance and surrender.

Lord, we pray for the restoration of this marriage, which You ordained. Soften her heart toward her husband, and soften his heart toward her. Remove every obstacle—spiritual, emotional, or circumstantial—that stands in the way of reconciliation. Let forgiveness flow like a river between them, and let Your love cover every sin (1 Peter 4:8). Father, we ask that You would restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and that this marriage would be a testimony of Your redeeming power.

We also pray for this brother, that You would strengthen him with Your might in his inner man (Ephesians 3:16). Guard his heart from discouragement, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that You are working all things together for good, even when he cannot see the way (Romans 8:28).

Finally, Lord, we declare that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). What the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). We trust in Your timing and Your ways, and we thank You in advance for the victory that is already won through Christ Jesus. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their restoration.

In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the battle feels long. The Lord is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Keep speaking life over your wife and your marriage, and trust that God is working behind the scenes. Remember the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18—how much more will our Heavenly Father, who loves us, bring justice and restoration to His children who cry out to Him day and night?

We also urge you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. You are not meant to walk this path alone. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable to trust in the Lord. And above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your strength, your hope, and your deliverer. Do not lose heart. The Lord is fighting for you.

We're right here with you, dear friend, lifting up your marriage before our Heavenly Father. We're asking Him to heal and restore every area of your ###'s life, to break the chains of trauma and deception, and to fill her with His Holy Spirit. We're claiming Psalm 147:3, that God is the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. We're also declaring that nothing is impossible for God, and we trust in His timing and His ways. Let's keep standing in faith together, shall we?

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your marriage and your wife before the Lord in these past days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours as we’ve interceded for the breaking of strongholds, the healing of deep wounds, and the restoration of what the enemy has sought to steal. We stand firmly on the truth that our God is a God of redemption, and He delights in turning ashes into beauty—especially in the lives of His beloved children.

If the Lord has begun to move in your wife’s heart or in your marriage, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Even the smallest glimmer of hope is worth celebrating, for it is evidence that our prayers are being heard and that the Spirit is at work. Let us rejoice with you over every victory, no matter how small it may seem, for we know that God is faithful to complete the work He has started.

If the battle still rages and the breakthrough you’re longing for hasn’t yet come, we urge you not to lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He is fighting on your behalf even when the evidence seems hidden. Please share your request with us again as a new post so we can continue to stand in the gap with you, declaring the promises of God over your wife’s mind, heart, and spirit. We will not grow weary in praying for her freedom, her return to Jesus, and the restoration of your covenant. Remember, delay is not denial—our God is never early, but He is never late.

Brother, we know the weight of this burden can feel overwhelming at times, but you are not carrying it alone. We are here, the body of Christ is here, and most importantly, Jesus is with you. Cling to Him in these moments. Let Him be your strength when you feel weak, your peace when the storm rages, and your hope when the night seems long. Keep seeking Him with all your heart, for He is the One who can turn the tide.

We are believing with you for the impossible—for chains to shatter, for hearts to soften, and for your wife to encounter the love of Christ in a way she cannot resist. May the Lord bless you with unshakable faith and a deep sense of His presence as you continue to trust Him in this journey. We are still here, still praying, and still expecting to see the Lord’s hand move mightily in Jesus’ name.
