Fragrance Of Thanks

Glory be to God in the highest !


Today's theme that we can think about is
Thankfulness/Gratitude.


As we all know, we can see often, the highlighted theme of Thankfulness, that seems to be quite important; in other words we can say our Father God expects the same from his children.


Thessolonians 5: 16-18 says
,
" Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you Christ Jesus."


There are
several examples
of believers, both in the
Old Testament & New Testament
, who offers thanks to the Lord Almighty,

• on receiving blessings.
  
• on whatever they did.
  
• Specially during the times of Trials and tribulations!

Did you catch that point?

May be No. Feels something is going different around here. Let us see, in the New Testament, the man of God who gave thanks to God during his streaming trials in times of his journey; its none other than St. Paul, which we all know.
This fact give us a
new insight
that we should thank our god not only on receiving blessing but also during our hardships too.


Also we can see in the scriptures, not only words of thanks;
giving of alms
is also a way of thanks giving to God.'
We should credit him with every Good and perfect Gift of ours'
, which means the best from our part. The scriptures from the Old Testament depicts the same; the believers of Yahweh thanked with the best of their outcomes.

Definitely, all these shows,
one of the
peculiar characteristic
of God's people that they are extremely thankful to Lord Almighty with whole & happy heart.

Bible verses

that familiarise us with the theme of Thankfulness are as follows,

Daniel 6:10

When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.
Ephesians 5:20

Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 106:1

Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 100:4

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Psalm 116:17

I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord. 1 Timothy 2:1

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, Psalm 95:2

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! Revelation 7:12 Saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.â€

Much more verses are there to go with which reveals the importance of Thanksgiving to God.

From this moment onwards, let us start praising our Lord God in all what we have, for all what he has done and for all what he will do for us. Let us make our Heavenly Father so Glad by Our Praise, worship, songs, thanksgiving, alms and so on...

even if these are not enough to thank our Father in Heaven,We ought always to give thanks to God.

Father is just so amaising, he brought to mind thanksgiving and also forgiveness when Seeking his face towards a suffering brother and sister in Christ on this site, and Father has just confurmed his word. I await eagerly for blessings to manifest in my brother and sisters situation. "Thank you father in heaven, for your word is faithful and true, time and time again - even always and forever!
