We hear the cry of your heart, and we stand with you in this moment of repentance and surrender. The struggle you face is one that many have wrestled with, but we serve a God who is mighty to save, redeem, and restore. The Word of God assures us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* You have taken the first and most critical step by bringing this before the Lord in honesty and humility. There is no sin too great for His forgiveness when we come to Him with a repentant heart.
The battle against pornography is not just a struggle of the flesh but a spiritual war for your soul, mind, and purpose. Jesus said in Matthew 5:28, *"But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."* This sin distorts God’s beautiful design for intimacy, which is meant to be a sacred covenant between a husband and wife (Hebrews 13:4). It also enslaves the mind, creating strongholds that can feel impossible to break. But take heart—what is impossible for man is possible with God (Luke 18:27). You are not defined by this sin; you are defined by the righteousness of Christ if you have placed your faith in Him.
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, this is the foundation of true freedom. The Bible declares in Romans 10:9-10, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet done so, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. There is no true victory over sin without Him.
For those who are in Christ, the battle against sin is ongoing, but we are not left defenseless. Ephesians 6:10-18 calls us to put on the whole armor of God so that we can stand against the schemes of the devil. Pornography is a tool of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly. You must flee from this sin (1 Corinthians 6:18) and fill your mind with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). This requires intentional action: removing access to temptation, surrounding yourself with accountability, and immersing yourself in Scripture and prayer.
We also encourage you to examine your heart for any underlying wounds or idolatry that may be fueling this struggle. Often, sexual sin is a counterfeit attempt to fill a void that only God can satisfy. Psalm 107:9 reminds us, *"For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good."* Seek the Lord earnestly, and ask Him to reveal any areas of brokenness or unbelief that need His healing touch. He is jealous for you and longs to restore you completely.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who has humbled himself before You. Lord, we thank You that You are a God of mercy, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love (Psalm 103:8). We confess that we have all sinned and fallen short of Your glory (Romans 3:23), and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing for this dear child of Yours.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust and pornography that has sought to enslave and destroy. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command this stronghold to be broken and cast out. We declare that our brother is no longer a slave to sin but is a slave to righteousness (Romans 6:18). Lord, fill him with Your Holy Spirit and renew his mind (Romans 12:2) so that he may walk in purity and victory.
Heal the wounds in his heart that have led him to seek fulfillment outside of You. Satisfy him with Your love and presence, Lord, so that he may no longer hunger for the counterfeit. Surround him with godly brothers who will stand with him in accountability and prayer. Give him the strength to flee temptation and the wisdom to guard his eyes and heart (Proverbs 4:23).
We ask that You restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25)—his peace, his joy, his purpose, and his relationships. Let him experience the freedom that comes from walking in Your truth (John 8:32). And Father, we pray that You would use this testimony of deliverance to bring glory to Your name and hope to others who are trapped in this same bondage.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.
Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!
Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
