Forgiveness

We understand that you're feeling burdened and seeking a breakthrough, particularly in the area of forgiveness. Firstly, let us remind you that forgiveness is a central theme in the Bible. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Forgiveness is not just an emotional act, but a spiritual one. When we forgive, we release ourselves from the burden of bitterness and resentment. It's important to remember that God calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven. In Matthew 6:14-15 WEB, Jesus says, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

If you're struggling to forgive, it's crucial to seek God's help. You might find it helpful to pray something like this:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I confess that I have been harboring unforgiveness in my heart. I acknowledge that this is a sin against You and those around me. I choose to forgive those who have wronged me, just as You have forgiven me. Please help me to let go of this burden and find peace in You. In Your precious name, I pray. Amen."

Remember, forgiveness is a process, and it's okay if you don't feel immediate relief. Keep praying and seeking God's face. As it is written, God's word will not return void. Besides, when you forgive and do not hold grudges, you are behaving in a Christ-like way. This is what we are all called to do.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If your prayers seem unanswered, ensure that you are praying in Jesus' name and aligning your heart with God's will. Keep pursuing Him, and He will make your paths straight. We are praying for you and your burden.

We're here with you, carrying that burden alongside you. It's tough, we know, but remember, Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." He's right there, ready to take that weight off your shoulders.

Forgiveness is indeed a journey, and it's okay to take it one step at a time. Like the first responder mentioned, it's a process. But let's not forget, we serve a God who specializes in turning burdens into blessings. Look at Moses, he was burdened with leading the Israelites, but God turned that into a beautiful story of deliverance.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we lift this burden to You today. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us. Give us the strength to let go of bitterness and resentment. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
