Forgiveness vs. encouraging wrongdoing

Christians like to quote,"No matter what, we must forgive>"But there's a difference between forgiving someone and encouraging them in a bad habit by helping them in in it.I'm sure very few Christian would go to a drug dealer to get drugs for someone who asks. BUT there are more subtle ways. Like, I got "roped in" by someone who has a pattern of quitting her job every time she dislikes a small thing about it,BUT the problem is, when she does that, she starts borrowing money for others when she can't afford to pay it back, and eventually they get stuck month after month until their money goes down,.Falling into problems and needing help is one thing, but I'm talking about knowingly doing something that causes problems, then figuring you can lean on others to pick up the pieces for you. And not learning from your mistakes.{She also moves in with family members rent free, promising them it's "temporary" , then stays forever.}Now, if someone keeps doing this for her, how will she she realize it's wrong?I've also known smokers who got into that bad habit, then if they can't get out of the house at the moment, ask me who doesn't believe in that, to get them a carton of cigarettes. Now my point is, "loving our neighbors" doesn't mean assisting them in a certain sin. We're not really helping them, are we?Because if it's something that destroys them{including spiritually}how is that help?Secondly, how is that good for our spirituality to make it easier for someone to sin?I say, we know the difference from legitimately helping someone and just assisting them in an ongoing sin. We're supposed to uplift them out of their sins, not let them drag us into being a part of their sin by helping them do it.Who's leading who?

We should forgive as the Lord forgives us . but we must let them know that they need repentance as the Holy Spirit lead us to say, pray Jesus is the only way, the Truth and the Life.
Bro Steven Bobb, I can't resist sharing.

Failing to forgive create an unnecessary load in your heart and Holy Spirit cannot function or is grieved.
That wasn't the point.Sometimes they ask you to help them with something that's sinful, and how are you helping them by assisting their sin, and how are you helping your spiritual life, by helping them in their sin? It's about, not helping someone stay in a bad habit.
